- Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! TH-cam's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the 2012 GMC Acadia Denali. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I do love looking at videos of old cars like this when they were new. This thing is probably in the junkyard now.
Since these have the 3.6 liter V6, I won't be surprised if the Engine either needs a timing chain to be replaced or went to the junkyard.
@@BigjohnZ06it’s a good car if you take care of it. It’s my first car. Does have a weird sound on startup sometimes, but it’s a great car and fits lots of people. Not to mention the audio system and the exhaust sound.

My opinion is that the guy making these videos is very good. I'm surprised one of the car magazines hasn't made him an offer yet. The next time I buy a car, I'll check to see if he has a video first.

My Aunt has the Acadia SLT. I drove it a few times and I was seriously surprised at the V6's power. It's got some balls for being a V6! Going home to my 2.2L 4 cylinder made me sad :P

I don't understand the craze about push start. I don't like it, nor do I think it's necessary. I've even seen a top gear episode where Hammond went out to James' car and opened the door and drove off in his car because the push button saw that the key was in range (it was parked just outside the restaurant they were at)
My parents bought one used today we pick up tomorrow

You know what would be nice is an add-on ice box for the middle seats. :)
Love the 3.6L, tho I personally wish they could have done something more to Denali and give it like a v8 or something.
The 2012 GMC ACADIA is the perfect vehicle for a middle age person :). Spacious for four people and four sets of Golf Clubs. Nice smooth ride, love my GMC ACADIA.
Why didn't you get a Traverse? It's cheaper and it is the same car. If you start to pick at the G on the GMC badge, you will see a gold bow tie poking it's way through.

I agree, we are behind the times with diesel powered cars. Supposedly this is about to change here in the states. Diesel is great for fuel economy
This is how car reviews started.
If it comes in black with that Denali trim I'd consider the Acadia Denali. We rented a Traverse and found it to be spacious, comfortable and practical so the Acadia will step that up a bit more.
The Acadia and the GMC Terrain are very well designed. I am impressed with both. I wish GMC would move to 3 spoke steering wheels or have 3 spoke with the bottom spoke being a double spoke. Overall the Denalis are nicely equipped and look just as good as German rivals. Keep up the great work GM!

I can't understand why GMC don't have 'push to start' in a lot of their vehicles.
If I were to find myself in the market for a crossover, I think I would get a Jeep Grand Cherokee over this. I have sat in both and I personally think the interior of the Jeep is of WAY higher quality. You also can get a V8 in the Jeep.
WoW doesn't look half bad...kinda reminds me of those lexus trucks from years back..but if I needed a nice little gas gussler I would think about getting this..nice Review...
lol its all good man I love listening to people's opinions and accepting their ideas and beliefs. Thanks to my ethics class. I like cars and open-minded about different things. Thats why I am trying out the MBs to see whether they are good substitutes for american cars. For some reason I am fixated on American Cars. Must be the American muscle cars. never know. When something looks unusual, look at it and prob try it out. :)
I got to drive one of these at GM's now-cancelled Main Street in Motion event this past summer and it was a really nice CUV, handled well, and I was surprised at the interior quality

Water is a natural byproduct of combustion. The weep holes are there for a purpose - to let the water drain out rather than sit in the exhaust components, which hastens rust.

I would take them upgraded changes to the interior but I would prefer the outside to be the standard Acadia like at 1:24 the white one.... I think it looks better

In fact they do. My cousin just purchased an Acadia for his family. He has four kids plus him & wife, well that is six people. Prior to this vehicle they had to take two cars to drive whole family around...
They didn't just put Saturn Outlook taillights on it, they just put a GMC grille and some slightly different headlights on a Saturn Outlook and called it new. Granted, the Outlook was always the best looking of them, and few consumers will ever notice, but it's still the principle of GM and badge engineering.

He doesn't put the price up because people always argue about how the vehicle should be priced. He wants everyone to enjoy the damn car.
I believe there are drain holes so the water does not sit in the exhaust pipes and mufflers which causes rust.

No heated seats in the second row seats
While looking under the car u can see more than 1 drip spot whihc means they do not have holes in them there is one drip in the front also.

I dunno if this matters of it it's a problem (or just me) but does it have an hole in the (right) exhaust? As a lot of water/exhaust is pouring out from the base of the system, maybe a hole or something, I dunno. Happy Easter!
@1:45 Why is there so much condensation NOT coming out of the tips? It drips from behind the mufflers on both sides, AND at the center. Do they actually make this exhaust system with holes in it?
