a little tidbit on that stalker situation, I had a stalker in 2019 who would show up at my (my moms) house every day leaving food and flowers and gifts and would show up at my cosmetology school with flowers and gifts so much to the point the front desk staff was really worried and wanted to get the police involved. I politely told this guy that I was not interested in receiving gifts and such each day and I was capable of feeding myself and he absolutely LOST it. He started threatening me and my family, he would remind me he had a ton of machine pew pews and shot pew pews and he would call me all sorts of horrible disgusting things all because I denied him. When I went to the police for help they quite literally told me they could not and would not do anything until he physically harmed me. It was then that I realized with stalking and harassment situations, the police are only REACTIVE and not proactive. They will do literally nothing until you are harmed. So scary and sad.
