I've actually wondered how video emails work. Can't wait for the results! How are you finding your new location? Did it affect your workflow a lot?

It actually benefitted me more because in a cheaper economy you can afford to live in the city centre right next to all the local amenities. I would recommend it to everyone I can. I'm also now on an EST timezone which has been really important in my communication with US based clients. An area that I want to further expand into.
Definitely a good idea to use a video, makes it more relatable and you can convey a more postive laidback tone of voice to an e-mail where you are actually starting your interaction with your potential client by criticizing them. But most say, that cold emailing like that is in my opinion not where you would get the best clients. First of all in some countries cold e-mailing another company is illegal and considered spam. Secondly why should the client choose you. The reason why their site is not working properly is 9 out 10 times because they dont care or don’t have the money. So how do make sure that the leads that get through the funnel actually want to pay what it cost.
I think this is highly dependant on a few things but off the top of my head: - Email is still one of the highest converting channels for sales. - If you're targeting lots of small businesses then you will get poor / low cost leads. Correct targeting is therefore crucial. - Sometimes clients need education from us in order to understand why they need a new website. This is why its important to understand your value prop and exactly why a client should choose you. Im not saying you're wrong. But perhaps there are multiple ways to grow.
Far too few TH-camrs in the web design field show how to land new clients. That's why I think your videos provide a lot of value as you show us how you do it step by step. We also set up an email campaign but without personal loom videos and out of 60 leads didn't land a client. I think it had to do that our message was not customized enough. So thank you for your insights. We will try again with loom videos :)

Sometimes. Its loosely based off of a framework I have written down but I always try to make sure my videos dont sound too robotic or scripted. The more you can freestyle the better as it feels personalised and natural.
You can find lots of leads using tools like lead shark, getting VA's to scrape linkedin and more! Just go on upwork and post a job asking for help and many experts will provide proposals detailing how they can help!

You can get a VA on upwork to do this for you. Or buy bulk email lists from certain sites. (I have someone do the latter for me).
