Very informative.
As a classical musician I first learned the Harmonic minor and then learned about the Natural minor later, but I never had to learn the dorian and melodic.
I'm gonna have to go check the classical melodic minor.

Just noticed that I accidentally said 'half a semi-tone' instead of 'semi-tone' a couple of times. I just meant a half step. Sorry for the confusion!
