As usual, fabulously informative video, with an extremely artistic interlude. I love the way you compare experiments and always discuss the differences in the results. Thank you once again
I just discovered your channel this morning and have been binging ever since. I love these kaleidoscopic flowers, just exactly what I'm trying to do with some of my own projects. I wonder if you've tried stacking one roll cake on top of another and then checked out the results? I bet that would be pretty cool. Probably more contrast-y on the bottom because half would be in the melted dye pool and half would probably be very pastel or tinted.
Hi, Nancy: You have been that nice and helpful that I really need to say thanks a lot again!!! It’s a big pleasure to learn from your experiences, and it is so generous from you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks a lot. A pleasure to learn from your experiments!!! Having a lot of fun with your videos and starting to experiment on my own with iced tie-dye!!! Glad you have a nice day!!! 😊😊😊
I love your videos and love ice dye in the muck. It’s weird how it works. I wish somebody would explain why and how it works, it’s an interesting topic. ✌🏻❤️
I got into tie dying recently for when I'm not in the mindset to make music, and I had an odd idea. . . What would happen if you put a bit of dye on top of the fabric, and then some more dye _on top_ of the ice? I checked online to see if anyone had done it and didn't seem to find any results. I just started a pair of jeans to test it out, but I'd be curious to see your results.

Both of these have wonderful colors, but I have to go with the muck. So pretty!
Thanks for watching, Deborah! :)
At first, I said muck was nicer, but now, I see the charms of both.
That sounds like an ideal outcome. Thanks for watching.
Nice comparison. Both side ice dying can also lend the strong contrast like the muck if colors are chosen well.
Ooh, yes. Thanks for reminding me about flipping! Nancy

Oh, you are so right. Isn't science a wonderful and mysterious thing?! I also wish I better understood what's happening behind the scenes.

Hey, very cool. That sounds like an awesome experiment. I haven't tried that yet myself, and look forward to hearing how your jeans turn out!
Muck
Nice. Thanks for watching!
