They are a Japanese group like BE:FIRST. The age range is 16 to 20 and all are Japanese.
This is the first group to debut from a project called XGALX which was planned by Japanese label avex in collaboration with a Korean producer.

XG means Xtraordinary Girls. They are Japanese. I believe most of them were trainees at AVEX academy.
Their names are:
CHISA+JURIA (beautiful vocal), HARVEY (rapper #1 after MJ leaning, the tattoo one),
COCONA (rapper #2 after MJ leaning, the knife one), JURIN, HINATA and MAYA.

From such a thing, I think Simon's four years mean the four years from 2017 to 2021.
Executive Producer Jakops (Junho Park) debuted as a singer in Korea and has been engaged in Kpop as a producer and composer for over 13 years. His father is Korean, his mother is Japanese, he is of Japanese nationality and was born in the United States. He came to Korea in 2009. He is fluent in English, Japanese and Korean. XG is a group that was born with all their might through a global project that they have been preparing for over 5 years. The group consists of Japanese members who practiced with the Kpop system in Korea and set global goals with English songs. The choreography of this song is good, it's addictive, it's stylish and it's good. It looks like a more evolved version of Kpop. Making a song in English is an important point. In that sense, XG group will be a sufficiently stimulating group for K-Pop.
