Amazing! Looks as flexible as a tortilla shell. I might have to try out that Raffan grind.....I like that bottom feeder bevel on the bottom. Thanks Tomislav 👍
New to your channel really enjoy it but I have a question what kind of angle does your gouge have it really looks like it slices thru the wood very clean and smooth Thanks
Thank you for watching, I did make a video on sharpening, I really never measure angle but in the video I did and it was 42-43 degress.... I use Richard Raffan asymetric grind and its totally different game..... Hope I helped a bit.... If you have more question feel free to ask😀
Very nice bowl and very good "instruction." I have done a few thin bowls myself, but watching you do it is very satisfying. I am going to refer your site to my "students" - a group of older men who wants to start turning as a hobby. Kind regards.
Nice. The whole second half of the video, i was thinking: don't explode, don't explode... And please next time do the light test at the end 😎 Very fine looking bowl.
Thank you, I dont break these from tools but when sanding .... Sanding can be tricky ..... I did wanna make a light test but can't find my light tourch anywhere...,. 😂
I sharpened an ash martini glass in the summer: cup - diameter 70 mm, height 55 mm, thickness 1 mm, leg thin part: length 75 mm,thickness 2.5 mm. It's hard!
Well done my friend,... love it,... and I know the pleasure you feel when making a piece like that,... stay safe and healthy
Thank you very much 🤗
Very impressive Tomislav! Looking forward to the 4 Turner series!
Thank you very much 🤗 Us 4 are excited as well😂
Interesting bowl. The wood looks beautiful.
Thank you 🤗

@@tomislavtomasicwoodturning When you were repairing the rim was the scarriest.
@@metodemersic that is a great way to get a catch and blow but ussually I can feel on the tool if something not right.....hope I explain that ok😬
@@tomislavtomasicwoodturning Yes, of course, I've ruined a few (otherwise perfectly good) bowls like that...
Very nice!
Thank you
I like that. Tried a few myself but I generally chicken out and only get it to about 1/8" ( 3 mm ). Got to try again now! Thanks.
Thank you Randy, I think I can go a bit thinner but that is for another video😂
Good luck and let me know how it turned out

@@ivanbukh7576 it can be quite difficult 😀
BRAVO!
Thank you very much Jim 😀
That’s a WOW piece! Not great or awesome but WOW. Made it so thin it acts like a plastic bowl. Lol. Oh, just to be clear, WOW is better than awesome.
Hahahah I was wondering where does woow fit😂😂 thank you so much 😀 Glad you liked it
Superbe
Thank you 🤗
