Kouros is my fathers favorite cologne he used to call it his good luck cologne when he passed we made sure it was sprayed on him and put in his casket I cherish this cologne
J’adore !
Clemence, what a fantastic video….I loved every moment of it. Back in those days there were not that many perfumes like there are now, but what beautiful perfumes they were. I especially loved Givenchy L’interdit on it’s original form. Even though it was reformulated for years, the essence was still similar to the original. The new versions of L’interdit are not even remotely the same perfume but an entirely different species. Thanks again for such snd interesting and informative video. Merci beaucoup. .
All these fragrances are sensational in their own way but my heart belongs to L'air du temp since age 13. Sharing the back stories was a nice touch, Ms. C. Voila✨
Clemence....so good! Love the history lesson and definitely looking to make a couple purchases. Great job putting this together....I'm sure it's not easy and takes quite a lot of time.
This video ist amazing thank you so much . I love iconic vintage perfume, and I love love love Shalimar - Guerlain . I think the parfum of shalimar the smol one 7.5 ml ist most beautiful bottle of the perfume I ewer see .
I LOVE this video!! Some of my most favorite fragrances are on your list: Eau du Soir, Aromatics Elixir, L'Interdit... and I know you talked about Rive Gauche for men, but the version for women was my perfume when I was 16 years old!! Thank you for this! 🥰🥰
Great video, I love love love these ones with the little history. So many icons and wonderful fragrances but Clèmence... You forgot the iconic Pink one 😜
I just adore your personality and your taste in fragrance. Your videos are impecably put together, knowlegable and edited beautifully. This one specifically with some history added was just CAPTIVATING!! May you reach your wildest dreams and I am definitely recommending your channel from now on! Just like you would say, Voila!! Love from South-Africa❤️💐
What an awesome topic! Your channel definitely must be million times bigger.your subjects are impressive most of the time.keep up the fabulous work sister!
Niiice, finally you're back at a little storytelling! Loved it! I think Eau Sauvage would have deserved a place here, but it has been my favourite all my life so I'm biased.
I love your fragrance history videos! The editing is great and its a fantastic list. I've seen people collect some of the original vintage bottles and they are so beautiful. Reformulations are a shame though!
I really love these type of videos not just because of how interesting you are but all the things I continually learn from you. You are Appreciated Clemence. High five! XOXO ❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜
Great video, thanks for a well put story, great visuals, I felt like I was watching a perfume documentary. I appreciate the content. Jeremy at the end is the winner 😂
Totally didn't know that story behind Miss Dior! She actually reminds me of my mother. 😄 In looks mostly. And yeah, I guess she's pretty resistant too. 😂 Love this video Clemence!
what do you think about houbigant having mon boudoir out before shalimar and the similarity...also with detaille alizee and shelaine with samsara and coco respectively not sure who got there first...
Well to be honest its like today, the fragrance that have similarities for me its normal, it was the trend so many fragrances this style blossomed, most important to me is which fragrances stayed in our mind during all these years 🤍
@@clemenceccfragrance of course sensibilities change over time. Those lush, dense fragrances were a thing of the 80s. In my day when grandma wore these fragrances, we wanted to be “grown up” like her. Now vintage means old lady and most of us try to avoid appearing that way….

Shalimar is a beautiful terrace garden in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in India. Shalimar is also a name of a large Diamond.
Yes indeed thanks for sharing!
Brilliant! I love your class and style! Though I think Classique was launched in the ‘90s not the ‘50s.
My mistake funny enough that i wrote 1993 on my notes and said something else !
