Mango Review: Lemon Meringue (aka PPK)!

Originally called Po Pyu Kalay (PPK), this mango came from Myanmar where it was renamed lemon meringue by Gary Zill down here in Florida. A supposed top tier tasting mango, the seeds also gave birth to other top tier mangoes like the lemon zest and the orange sherbet. This is my first time trying this variety, enjoy!

We ate our first one a couple days ago. It was great. Sweet, lemony flavor. Maybe resembles some kind of lemon candy.

Yeah lemon candy is a great description. But then again so is lemon meringue

We're tasting lemon + sweet, and some raw peanut flavor in these! We've had 5 so far and they all taste very much alike. The tree made 8, this being its first year to fruit.
