Good video , i have a new one and it is very stable war bird in all conditions. The only BUT is that it is dificult to intrude the batt ery in his compartiment, it is very small.
Loved this video. You seem to be having some genuine fun. Just how I like to fly my mini warbirds Dom. Gets too windy for my balsa trainer, out comes the mini red tail Mustang. Still my fave. Great for practicing throttle control and stall recovery against the wind. I picked up a useful technique for flying in heavy wind the other day. Rather than flying a circuit and having to fight a long way back upwind, I turn and fly across-wind, allowing it to be carried downwind slightly and simply turn back into the wind to hold position/progress. If you're at full throttle against the wind and going backwards it's obviously time to push the elevator down and land before it disappears into the distance (otherwise, keep on flying)! 😉👍
The latest versions of these little V761 planes (V2 versions of the P-51 Mustang and F4U Corsair) now have plane battery and receiver range telemetry warnings Dom. Someone mentioned (on the forums somewhere I think!) that their Tx started beeping when the plane battery was pulled on his example of 1 of the older models with the screw-mounted flight board (ie BF-109, Zero, P-40, Spitfire, P-47) - perhaps they are shipping some of the older types with the newer Txs and Flight boards now? I presume that you've just received that 1 so could you check it, please? Either way they are a lot of fun even in the wind. 😊
@TravisWillison-xs2ig Where did you get your Spitfire from and how long ago, Travis? I don't think that the first ones out had the capabilities and it would be nice to know just when they started making the change.
Wow that's pretty awesome. Amazing taking such a small plane out abd it doing better than a larger plane. I love all warbirds but would like to see volantex or eachine bring a micro scale glider out. 👌 After watching this I may just buy one as its far to windy in the UK now 😂
Is there a one button shutdown to prevent it flying away for whatever reason? I'm struggling to control it, im a noob, if it wasnt for the beep i already lost it so many times
Eh, no. In Beginner and Medium modes it is very easy to fly. You need to trim it with the switches to fly straight and level at half throttle. Do that first.
No. They don't but nobody wanting to give RC flying a first try should spend more than this. It flies in most conditions and is bounceable. Folks who give it a go are likely to want to take the next step up after having fun with one of these.
That was fun to watch Dom, always funny to see a plane hover in the air.
The only RC flying fun to be had on such a windy day Chris. Allowed me to get my fix.

True. Need tweezers or fingers like a young child to do it quickly

Thanks for the comment Andrew. 100% genuine fun ! Cheers
Was that a plane or an angry wasp😄. Great entertainment !

Will do.

@@EssentialRC was Flying in beginner mode.... I really suck then 🤣
those don't fly as well as the bigger aircraft. I rarely fly my mini P-51

Will that P-47 bind to the Jumper 4 in1 radio?
Should be running on the same V761 protocol that the other mini warbirds use...so yes, it should bind to a multi-protocol radio that supports V761.
