#1, Congratulations on your anniversary with your beautiful wife. #2, That is an incredible backpack and your demonstration was superb. #3, Your top 5 list is solid. Thanks for your time and efforts in bringing this pack to the attention of your fans.
I agree with the top 5. This IS very well thought out bag. I like the sheen of the material and the durability of it. The water bottle pockets is a classy touch that keeps the lines clean without the visual clutter of an exposed pocket and bottle. All that is missing is a Wolf Grey color. Thanks George!
A manufacturer that listens to reviewers and their viewers suggestions? That's just plain ol' crazy talk. That is a nice blend of features, materials and price for that bag. Kudos Able Carry. Thanks for sharing. One.
Happy anniversary! Loving this bag for a few reasons. I don’t need a new bag but it’s features are nice. This would be perfect for travel, biking, work, or just regular day to day. The luggage strap, rips top, carabiner hook options, lockable zippers, contoured straps may have me sell something else I have for this!
Hey, you have a beautiful, happy family. I like seeing that (even) more than this very cool pack. I thought Able Carry was a Kickstarter but didn't find this 30L Max there. I'll try again after my morning coffee though. That might make a difference in my search skills. You hooked me on this beauty, George. By the way, I'm not a green fan either but it sure looks sharp with the brown-green tones.
Hi George,.. and...👍👍👍 you've well done this presentation, ,...but I miss (as usual), some square centimeters of hook and loops inside the compartments to fix some items in place, to avoid a bulky form. The pockets and possibilities looks good, ...but still missing "hooks & loops" (Maybe that's my illness of organisation 🤫). That's why I choosed the VertX, you remember that, maybe? Take care, stay safe! And I hope your family will have some benefit about the intro 🥳 Best regards from Mongolia
Loving the design on this one. I guess I will have to do a little more research. The color isn't going to cut it for me (a little too "outdoorsy") but price and function... looks like a winner.
Another great review, you really hit all the features well. The price is definitely right fo this bag. It’s too big for EDC use for me but I’d certainly use it for travel and as a carry on. I like the green, that’s the one I’d buy for sure.
George is right about that color hitting the light. It's turns an awesome brownish color. I have the Triple Aught Design Axiom 24 in olive with the same material.
Amazin review I can't wait for mine to arrive :) I'll test it as a one bag for two months in south east asia, let's see how that thing fits under the airplane seats
This is now your #1 pack? Dang, that is an impressive statement. I'm going to have to watch this again and make some elaborate flow charts. I'm rocking my CPL 28 v2, and I don't know how anything could top it, but I appreciate your opinion. Love your videos!
Another awesome review! Love the presentation and walk through....i had a question about where the GR1 fell into your top 5 but of course you answered it.....do you have a video comparing your top 5?
Another great review, George. You know they offer a black camo version, just backed it. Have a great thanksgiving and stay safe. Regards Phil from Switzerland
George, great review bro! This is getting added to my collection ASAP!! That VX material is no joke when it comes to price! Top 5...Evade 1.5, 40L GR2, First Tactical Tactix 1-Day Plus, GR 15L Bullet, and the Low Vis LBT 8005A!
Thank you George DEFINED for the excellent review. Your reviews are detailed, thoughtful, funny and, most importantly, informative! Keep up the good work brother! I am torn between getting the blue, black or green version of the bag. Any suggestions on what color to choose. Also, I have two laptops, one 15 inch macbook and one 13 inch macbook. Do you think a 15 inch macbook in a Tom Bihn laptop sleeve with a 13 inch macbook fit comfortably and, above all, safely in the laptop compartment? Thanks.
Great review, Evade is still #1 for me as I prefer 24-27L for EDC with the lower profile. Its heavier than this pack likely because it uses Cordura throughout vs only partial for this pack. Overall the Evade and Goruck seem more heavy duty although no one aside from you has handled the Ablecarry yet!
I have been thinking of getting this bag as an upgrade over my current bag which is a 5.11 rush 12 since it looks like this bag hits the spots in a few places to me. More low profile look/less tactical: Recently with current events I really have started to think about removing myself from having a backpack that really screams tactical and I think this backpack still has an amazing function with the less tactical look. Size: It's a few litres bigger but should be an easy transition for me as I also have used a North Face recon 30L backpack before. Clamshell opening: After using the 511 rush 12 I love clamshell opening backpacks so much that I don't think I can switch to a non-clamshell opening backpack. secure water bottle pocket: Since the Rush 12 doesn't have a built-in water bottle holder I bought a molle compatible water bottle holder and I have to say it isn't the most secure. Dedicated laptop compartment: The rush 12 doesn't have an elevated laptop holder so this would make me feel better if I dropped my backpack and overall the organization on this bag seems really good. It's also a Hong Kong-based company which is kind of cool as I have lived there before. The price is the only thing really holding me back at the moment since this is more expensive than any of my other bags but I really hope this backpack could last me 10 years if I did buy it. The colour is another thing as well since currently on Kickstarter the blue and green are cheaper.
This looks about perfect! A little worried, like you mentioned, about it being somewhat large for EDC. Does it stick out more (in depth) than the CPL28? Wondering if either bag would look more slim if not packed out. I just don't want to swing it into other people!
I have preordered the alpha, so just waiting for that. Until then I am using my trusty old 5-11 covrt18. However, one of the reps that comes to our site gave me a new bag which I have only just had a good look at. Brand is Tatonka, bag is the Server Pack 29. Another really well designed bag that I'd definately recommend you check out online
I would of liked it with a compression strap and maybe one outside pocket. Great backpack and I'm really tempted. For some reason I like the alpha 1 a tad bit more.
Im a new sub to your channel. Solid review. I’m looking for a backpack that I could use a emergency pack. This might be just what I’m looking for. Keep up the good work! 👍🏽🤙🏽
Any thoughts on the main compartment zipper, if they would have matched the laptop zipper “aqua guard zipper” for aesthetics and a little bit more rain protection for the main-section? Thanks in advance...
In my opinion this bag is missing a hip belt, load lifters and maybe some compression straps - this would really make it a great hybrid as a day-, maybe even hikinbag as well as a travel bag
George or anyone else - what's the square carabiner you are using? Great review. I just got the CPL28 and now this Max and the CHZ26 are both released?!... damn!
Pretty cool bag. I have a bunch of bags, and brief cases. My E.D.C. Backpacks though are not used for work hahahaha. I use them separate. Of course as a business owner, I have my brief cases for work, and my backpacks for running errands or hanging out. I do however have my work backpack which is huge but my E.D.C. Backpack is totally different. Also i have slings and oh a lot os pouches as well for work and every day carry. Some people like to have every day carry and their work backpack the same but really it is better to have that separate. Work stuff should remain with work stuff and E.D.C. Should bee kept in their own class. Then this way, you have everything that you need whether for work, or every day carry. Come the weekend, you don’t have to worry about switching your work stuff out of your work bag and put your e.d.C. Stuff in and then come sunday night transferring everything back. It doesn’t make any sense. Some people do that cause they don’t want that many bags just one but it will wear you out in the long run. Why not just have a bag for everything.

How have I not known about George until now. My favorite reviewer. Love your detail and honesty.
Dude, how did I just find you? I'm a backpack freak and spend more time watching videos than working. Love your vids. Peace.
Just got this exact one thanks to you. Cant wait to take it to a weekend trip to bangkok tomorrow

This is an awesome bag. You’ll sold me. I just bought it in black!
I enjoyed watching you walk into that cornfield like the 1919 White Sox.
Of the 4 bags i own the Able Carry Max is my most carried. The harness fits me best and the straps are so comfortable. Very happy to have one.
