This episode was HEAVY. I need to know what happens to the Rockruff Gladion released, and Pawniard too.
Ash’s life changing probably would have been a great way to bring out a change in his hair as well. I expected he’d let his natural hair come back as a way to shed his pride and be different from always praising Cynthia and just being a shadow of her.
Sucks that Ash lost Pawnard. Hopefully he returns so he can finish his character arc
I hope ash goes after pawniard. I felt as though just because ash was angry at his mistake doesn't mean he couldn't resolve the tension
i think both need time to calm down and for pawniard to greatly regret its actions of what it did

Best part of this story is that it's running after Kingambit (?) was released in this newest generation, it'll be interesting if he returns to find it has defensively gathered others (after having dealt with rivals) when Guzma goes wild and Ash returns to the island to meet neither Pawniard or Bisharp but instead a shiny third evolution.

Loving how the team is coming together! You guys always keep me on my toes, I didn’t expect this series to be set in Alola, or a pawniard to be captured, though after the Red mentor series I should expect a mandatory shiny. Keep up the unique captures and top class writing and twists.
Pawniard needs to come back soon though if it wasn’t for him jangmo-oo wouldn’t be able to have pushed it self so much to realize it was a weak link

I think that sints hackamo-o has a bad injury and could make it less agile I can see it becoming a slow bulky speshal attacker insted of a speedy phisical attacker like Cynthia's garchomp.
It may have done some bad things but I would love to see poniard return in about 2 episodes. Also for some reason I have the feeling that Hakamo-o will turn into a bit of a Original Series Charizard if you know what I mean. Also ma boi Guzma having a potential Bishop intent on seriously injuring shiny pawniard seems like a good way to bring it back to ash after a gig battle.

I’d watch it, though more for the Hoenn aspect than Sawyer or Kalos

Alonan Marowack is my favorite regional variant and I hope with the release of Gladions Rockruff, we might see Ash capturing it? Also, I know Guzma has Golispod, but I think it would be a nice call back to sun and Moon, when Ash didn't catch the wimpod and Golispod is one my favorite Alonan Pokemon and water types. Its also be nice to give Ash a tanky water type like his mom's Gastrodon and Milotic. It would also give Ash a good challenge to deal with Golispod's emergency exit ability and learn how to utilize it in battle, as Guzma never did.

Likely from a Pokémon who watched the battle or noticed the brooding little one somewhere and was not all that impressed with its pride and decides to mentor the blue pawnyerd
It could be a bisharp or maybe a lucario or some other Pokémon but either way it may take responsibility for setting the little steel type back on a better path and teaching it to suck up its pride
I really ash decides to reconciliation with pawniard

Hm? Ash dye his hair, huh? I wonder why my guess is that it has something to do with Ash's father for this series. 🤔 Nice Ash caught a Cubone & Pawniard in this part. I like how Cubone is connected to the Pawniard Gang that bullied Ash's Pawniard, and I feel like Pawniard will come back, but it needs to grow in character, too. Enjoyed, seen Lillie grow with confidence in this part, and finally having her own pokemon team with Snowy/Alolan Vulpix and Big Meanie/Tauros. Ash losing to Olivia did help him grow as a character, and it did help him move out of his mother's shadow. Although still showing, he still has some growing to do with blowing up on Pawniard at the end, even if it's Pawniard's fault. Finally, hm, the Pawniard Guzma caught was it injured because of Ash's Pawniard? 🤔 Anyways another really good part, and I will check out the next part.

Dill, I still don't get why being raised by Cynthia is having Ash start in Alola instead of Sinnoh. Can you explain your logic to me?
I can explain partially since some of the reasoning would involve spoilers. The non-spoiler part of the thinking is that Cynthia canonically travels a lot having visited Unova, Alola and Galar at least, and there's no reason Ash would necessarily start in sinnoh considering how he would most likely travel with his mother
Beyond Dill's explanation, there's also the fact that Alola's less represented, so it'd be more interesting.

Ah, I understand now. Unfortunately the orange hair wasn’t a parenting clue. When you mess up bleaching hair it turns orange (I sadly know this from experience lol)

Why ash didn't get the rockaium Z i think u forgot to give it to him and i really liked pawniyard leaving ash's team but I really want it to rejoin the team once again but the only thing which I personally didn't like is cubone why cubone don't mind but I think even caterpie would have been a good option . I think you could have give him a better pokemon there but lets see what happens and how events will turn
Don't worry, we didn't forget, Ash just had bigger things on his mind like his best friend bleeding out in his arms.
