This marks the halfway point or so of our story, very excited for you guys to see what we have next and how Ash will continue to grow out of his mom's shadow!
I love that ash got popplio in this universe since the anime ash got the other two starters already
Cubone and Popplio are pretty interesting Pokemon to have. Wonder how they'll be used
I really enjoy the story so far and this was a great episode. So nice to see how lily is developing. And popleo is so cute. This was certainly worth the wait.

I've got a theory on what Ash's main team will be here (main incase he catches more then 6 Pokemon)

Glaceon/Espeon/Jolteon (I think he will catch the Eevee from part 1)
Dusk Lycanroc (from the Rockruff that Gladion used to own)
And shiny bisharp I don't think they're just leaving him off like that
I hope not lycanroc is so boring in what ifs, its in pretty much every Alola one
@@dudesayshi2191 Ash realised him if anything Cross or Gladion are probably gonna catch that Pawniard most likely Cross given what Pawniard did to Hakam-o when it was a Jangm-o I doubt Ash would take Pawniard back especially after it showed no remorse
I actually have my spin on this storyline planned for a series called Sinnoh high it's sort of like a MHA in a way but instead of quircks it's everyone aiming to beat Leon:
Ash like in the anime wants to be the one who beats Leon but finds out he was born with a heart disease that could cost his life under intense situations such as a major Pokemon battle as a result Delia wouldn't allow him to get a Pokemon as a result Ash was isolated and bullied by his peers with his one friend for the longest time being Wally who had a similar condition
Eventually Ash meets Volkner who after seeing Ash save Gary from Team Galactic which is ironic because Gary was the main person who bullied Ash decided to personally sponsor Ash and gave him a Pikachu which he had actually breaded from his Raichu with help of who later turned out to be Reggie's help
Fast forward to when they're highschool (the story starts at the end of middle school for them) Ash and Wally are allowed to travel as it's a required part of their grades provided they took a Mr Mime Ash rescued from Team Galactic with them (this of course being Mimey) who could help them incase either of them had a heart attack
On occasion Serena who they met in highschool would join them as its usually reccomended students travel in pairs or groups and they ended up in Alola Ash catches Pawniard and Jangm-o like in the what if but instead of Olivia it's a double battle against Gladions Rockruff and Umbreon
Pawniard stabs metal claw into Jangm-o and uses it as a Pokemon shield to take Umbreons iron tail that it was blocking with metal claw so that it can focus on Rockruff who was using fire fang Pawniard jumped over fire fang and revealed that it had learned Guillotine which took Rockruff out immediately
It then turned its attentions to Umbreon who along with Ash was trying to make Jangm-o stay awake as it was losing blood from metal claw and was badly hurt by iron tail (Pawniard had moved too fast for Umbreon to stop it's iron tail from hitting Jangm-o)
At the Pokemon center Ash snapped at Pawniard and kicked it off his team upon learning that Pawniard did that just because it didn't want to take damage despite resisting iron tail and being weak to fire fang
Gladion comes into the Pokemon center and punches Ash pointing out that if he abandons Pawniard he's just subjecting more innocent Pokémon to end like Jangm-o so when Ash asked what he should do Gladion proposes a trade
Pawniard for his Rockruff Ash, Serena and Wally were surprised by this and initially thinking Gladion was doing this because Rockruff lost but Gladion explains that as much as it hurt him to do so he couldn't be the caring trainer that Rockruff needed but Ash could much like how Pawniard needed someone who understood his anger towards others which Gladion could
At a trade machine Gladion reassures Rockruff that it wasn't his fault and that he had let Rockruff down as a trainer giving it one final hug goodbye and Umbreon nuzzling it whilst Ash just glared at Pawniard pokeball and said good ridence before doing the trade and Gladion handed Ash a substitute doll explaining it was Rockruffs toy and that it'd probably wonder where it was if Ash didn't have it
Later that night though Serena said she didn't get why Gladion said he couldn't be the loving and caring trainer that Rockruff needed when Umbreon evolves via high friendship but Wally suggests whatever happened to Gladion may of happened after Umbreon evolved
That night Jangm-o regained consciousness to see Ash, Pikachu, caterpie, Mimey and Rockruff by his side the group having never left his side besides to do the trade with Gladion
Gladion does catch another Rockruff which becomes his Lycanroc but he always did regular check ins to see how his first Rockruff was doing when he had the chance showing that whilst he had a new Rockruff he still cared about his first one
Unlike in that what if though Jangm-o doesn't evolve overnight as Ash had Jangm-o for less time then he did in the what if at this point Professor Rowan the principal of their school gave permission for Ash, Wally and Serena to stay in Alola and do remote school work until Jangm-o was discharged from the Pokemon center though Serena eventually had to return home before then due to some family stuff but she still checked in to see how Jangm-o was doing
@@d15t0rted4 I think that might be because Lycanroc was a forefront in the anime alongside Incineroar that the creators of the what ifs you've seen wanted to focus on Ash's other Pokemon
Though tbh I'm surprised anyone watches what Ifs about Alola it's honestly not even a decent region this what if is literally one of only 2 Alola stories I've seen by other channels that actually made me look forward to future episodes the other being Zonoliths Sun And Moon Rewrite

Love the video. But I gotta ask, how did Cubone Evolve into Alolan Marowak anyway, since they’re in KANTO, not Alola.
I mean its still an alolan cubone, its DNA and everything else that should contribute to its genetic makeup would still have gone through the requirements that lead to the alolan adaptations, hence if it reaches the power threshhold somewhere else it shouldn't matter. If that were the case we'd have more evidence of some kind of special condition of the islands like an energy or radition field needed for the evo. The thing that makes an alolan marowak would already be in it as a cubone from the region, same way if you took an alolan vulpix egg somewhere else it wouldn't suddenly hatch into the classic forn Vulpix
@@PlusUltraMan very fair. Worth asking since Cubone found in Alola in the games don’t evolve into Alolan Marowak when taken out of Alola via an Ultra Wormhole into Ultra Space, but regardless, thanks for the clarification.

Why do I feel like the Shiny Pawniard is going to be caught by Cross?
Oh boy, Ryuki will be helping in the Po Town attack. Ash won't be happy with this. 😬 Really enjoyed the Ash vs. Gary battle, although I thought Ash was going to finish the battle with a Z-Move. Hm? So Gary lost to Harrison in this Timeline interesting. 🤔 And glad Gary his getting his normal character growth here. One thing I was hoping for was Ash, Lillie, and Kiawe meet Delia, maybe eating at a restaurant she is running since she didn't have Ash in this Timeline since they meet Professor Oak and Gray during while in Pallet Town. Oh, hey Butch and Cassidy neat, but huh, no Team Rocket anymore interesting. 🤔 Everybody in this part are getting really good pokemon for their team for sure. 👍 Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.
