Thank you for pointing out that my AufK 221 deck building mistake. Even during the game i didn't realise why they were doing so badly :D Deck adjustment made. Thank you for the cast
After watching the full cast and having my game reviewed by you good Sir, I can only come to one conclusion. The vid is aptly titled. So many silly micro mistakes made. GGWP to my opponent Theoman for scaring the bejebus out of my German cats lol
Interesting that the 3rd Armoured deck didn't bring the 2k Sherman on this map. Also confused about the use of the unarmoured trucks with M2 HMGs when there are pretty much infinite M2A1 halftracks. Also not understanding using the last expensive tank slots when those AP could be spent on more useful 2AP slots elsehhere. Did he really need one more card of M4s that much? I wonder if people are building these decks on the fly before a match. Personally I have a 1v1 deck for each division & if I want to make specific changes, I make a copy & edit it, leaving the original one as a base template.
Definitely agree with you, too many odd choices in deck building of the 3US deck. Like Atk said, i’ve never seen a full tank tab for 3US even it is a great armored div with cheap tank AP cost. Im like you, i have all decks from each div built and often more than 3 decks from only one div (for each competitive income vanguard, maverick and balanced). The count is close to 160 decks but it is functional and competitive. When i met some players in tourney they are telling me they need time to build a deck. But honestly you can’t build a deck entirely just before a game. You do so many mistakes in doing like that.
@@colonelkoenig42birhakeim42 I remember a team game tournament where I messed up my C phase Belgian infantry for 6th AB so all 27 had no trucks. Walked a big group to the front & as soon as they arrived a Ju88 Napalm bomber decimated them lol Having 160 decks is a bit of a pain when there's a patch & we have to check them all but I do enjoy tinkering with them, so not a horribleproblem to have I guess.
50 cals are small cannons....I heard that a german soldier once said that once you heard those open up near you, it was "nosedive into the dirt" for everyone in the platoon....so the suppression factor was real ? Its one of the signature murrican things of WW2 😎
So I've found myself playing this game a lot more, and will soon be getting the Tribute to D-Day DLC since its loaded with things that I'm eager to try since they're my play style. After watching this though, I feel like I would do a lot better than I think I would in PvP. I just fight the AI on Very Hard at the moment. 5th SS Panzer is my main and will definitely be staying that way. Where does it sit in the tiers currently? To me I feel it has a respectable balance of most of the things. But that's what I see and I want to know what other people think.
Playing people is so much more fun. It’s worth diving in. 1v1 is the most fun in my opinion but it takes a lot of work to get really good. 10v10 let’s you manage less but is a LOT more spammy
That Jagdpzr was supposed to cover the ridge where AtkPwr pointed out. I've not reviewed the game myself yet, but it does look like it got stuck in the building. My mistake for not picking up on it
How does it work, one player chose his division first? And the other later? (this allows counters) And later in game two roles reverse? Edit: sorry but as much as i love to watch those matches, I never got how it works
Yes. The players generate 5 random maps and go back and forth banning maps until 1 is left. Then depending on the rules of the month (sometimes it’s random divisions, sometimes pre selected, etc), there are typically a few ‘division bans’ by each player and then first player picks a division, other player counter picks and chooses their income, then first player chooses their income. For the next match, usually it’s 2 matches, the roles are reversed.
Most of the arguments I've seen involve them being used for surrenders, with the suggested fix being removing their zone control. Not saying I agree with it, just passing on what I've heard.
Cause you get to pay 5-10 pts for a unit that instantly pins, surrenders things, moves quickly, and can completely bully an area. And then you can bring in 50+ of those.
Witch doctor could had won if he push the top at the end and defend the middle because his opponent has no tanks to counter his panzers. From what I see the 3rd armor mistakes Is he overextend his attack he would had just defend the town with infantry and more tanks and have a better chance to win.
I dont know if the 76mm tungsten core maximum pen rounds are in the game, but historically those were only issued to TD crews (Hellcat and Wolverine), and 76mm sherman crews had to barter to get even a handful of them - so maybe those could be on a "special" 76mm sherman card.
@@atkpwrgaming I just want them to bring it more in line with the other 76 AT guns that they get. M6s or whatever. Can't remember the name. Raise the cost 10pts, idc. I just want allied armor to suck less.
Panzer Lehr and 3rd armored are my two personal favorite US and German divisions. Mostly due to the fun you can have when playing with friends Edit: just a question, do you guys think that there should be a indicator placed where offmap is gonna land? (Like small flares, red smoke or something like that)
bad commentary. your casting the match not dictating moves to the german player. i've seen you get stomped many times, i dont think these players need any of your armchair generalship.

Yeah he was definitely in your head tent free haha
Hope you learned from the experience. Good comeback....

I have a deck built for every division as well. I know my playstyle so it would only be division match up changed

witch dooooctor prolly just smokin on that ganja and forgetti abooot the jaged panzer.....smokin on that 3rd armor pack
Hahaha
I'm wondering if the Jadgpzr IV that was lollygagging around for so long had gotten stuck on the terrain of the House?

Yeah I’m not sure it was in a really weird spot
Looks like a classic case of not looking at the clock imo.
Could be that but he was just playing passive throughout
3rd Armor does have HE tanks Theoman just didn't bring any
Yeah I thought that was really weird
That was a moment for a Hobotango special, just q move your whole force.
Yeah definitely at that 5 minute mark it was time
great match that really highlights the unknown factor
Yeah it was exciting!
You need to stream more often!
I’d love to! Time is always short unfortunately

also interested in an answer about that

@@manumilitarigaming thanks, exactly what I wanted to know, much apreciated!
Great explanation ! I would add that the picks and bans process is important at high level. It becomes a skill/competency
Manu explained perfectly, sorry for not replying sooner!
I'm just curious, why do you think halftracks are so cheesy ?
+1
I don’t understand also

Oh most definitely many mistakes were made on both sides
I wish they'd buff the 76 Sherman's with more pen.

@@someonefromabroad5563 You will need to buff the TD vics aswell though
@@stardekk1461 🤔 Oh yeah...well maybe a mid-to-late game TD card with low availability but more rounds of tungsten....
I mean the 130 pens most things in the game pretty well. I don’t know if they historically had apcr

Oh I think a lot of people want some of indicator. It’s so annoying that they could drop it wherever
It would be nice if there was something like maybe a couple of rounds of smoke halfway till it goes down
Painful in so many ways.... : (
Yeah I was losing it a bit haha

I’ve actually beat both these players several times so some advice may not hurt 😅
