Istanbul-based musician Tolga Boyuk created the character Islandman. In concert, it turns into an electro-acoustic trio, weaving sinuous and bewitching improvisations. Islandman won over the Montreux Jazz Festival audience with its electronic structures, hypnotic guitars and shamanic rhythms.

bu oluyor genelde... esasen hiç yurtdışı bir jazz etkinliğine katılmadım ama isminde "jazz" geçen hangi etkinliğe/ konsere vs gittiysem (klasik big band jazz anlamında değildi hiçbiri, genelde trio ve sanırsın hayatın anlamını veriyorlar gibi bir cool'lukla çalan tipler) hemen herkes "ağır abi" modunda idi! bıraksınlar bu işleri artık... müzik; müzikdir ve illa ki hiç olmadı salınırsın vs reaksiyon verirsin bedeninle...
