They love Kieth Miller in Australia. He had retired before I was born. After Bradman he was the one they all talked about all the time.They still pick him today in any best Australian XI team. I think he was idolized because of the type of man he was. His service in the war, played football, got on with it with the bat, liked a drink a little edgy, whats not to like.

I have been meaning to upload that for a few days now. Lindwall, unfortunately, was ranked below 25 and a complete series wasn't done on him.

If your choice is Proctor as number one then Miller has to be above Proctor. Miller played many more Test Matches than Proctor and was hugely successful. As a pure all-rounder Miller has no equal.
