Very good tutorial, I have adapted it to something I needed. I have a question though. I am trying to make something similar but instead of a month calendar is it possible to make it in a week by week calendar? Please let me know how I would go about doing that. Thanks!

Hi friend. Thank you very much for this video. I have the following problem, the events are loaded in the corresponding month and day, but they are also loaded again in the following months, that is, an event with date 05-April-2021, is shown on 05-May-2021 , on 05-June-2021 and so on to infinity and beyond. At first I thought that the problem was in the code, but then when doing the queries directly in Access, the same thing happened. I am storing the dates in the format day, month, year, hours, minutes and seconds, but I think that when making the queries for a range of dates, in some cases Access tends to search by month, day, year, with which they are loaded to the list and are displayed every month. I have tried to send the already formatted parameters to the query, but this error is still getting. Do you have any idea how to fix it? first of all, Thanks

So my problem is the names ( like this 47:23 ) are not displaying on the calendar.
I tried everything. I am using MySQL database.

This gives error:
System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: "Syntax error in date in query expression 'CallDate between #01.03.2020# and #31.03.2020'."
As I understand syntax is correct, what I do wrong?
UPD. The problem was in regional standards, solved it in this way:
$"select * from Timetable where CallDate between #{Format(startDate, "dd-MM-yyyy")}# and #{Format(endDate, "dd-MM-yyyy")}#"
Thank you for this solution; I even started the whole damn thing over, thinking I did something wrong. :) ;)
BTW, Microsoft VIsual Studio has an add-on which converts VB to C# (and vice versa); nifty. #HopeItWillWork :D

Hi! I've been following your code a transforming it into c# but i've got a problem even with your downloaded project. Each time I press previous month or next month button it shows all the links. (e.g: I go to november and it shows appointments from october, december or whatever) Do you know whats the problem here?

It means there is something wrong with your SQL STATEMENT,
This should be the Insert statement
INSERT INTO (column names) values (the values for each columns)

Just download a new version of visual studio 2017 or 2019 / if not you can use "some text" & someVariable instead of $"some text {someVariable}"

Can you help me on this. I'm trying to add an appointment at the particular date. i.e. Nov 14, 2019, but the appointment was also added/shows on the same day of next year. i.e. Nov. 14, 2020. How can we solve this? Thank you in advance. Hope someone can help me.

You can use VB.NET - C# converters to solve this issue. They are not perfect but quite helpful.

@@sergiorp1029 Change the order of the labels. So he puts the sunday label first just rearrange the labels when making the calendar. Then do everything the same.

Found the solution, it was because i was not passing the currentDate variable as parameter, instead, i was using a new instance of currentDate, which resets everytime

Maybe it's kinda late for this, but i've been spending months trying to fix this error too and today i can see the solution. In the "AddDay" private sub: You can replace Dim sql As String = "Select * From DATATABLE Where TABLEDATE Between #" & DATE & "# and #" & DATE & "#""
with this line: "Select * From DATATABLE Where Month(TABLEDATE) = " & DATE.Month & " and Year(TABLEDATE) = " & DATE.Year & ".
It works for me perfectly.

it should fix the problem // if you have dd-MM-yyyy it will paste the day in everymonths you u need to change to MM-dd-yyyy

I found the solution! i had to clear my datatable with DataTableName.Clear(); inside AddAppointmentToFlDay method, before foreach loop
