9:32 I love that whoever is playing the game makes Stanley nod "Yes" when the narrator says "I think the issue here is just that you're unusually fascinated by falling." and then again when he says "Why don't we just put all this behind us and agree to just call the hole mostly-infinite." 😆
6:20 there's actually a single grenade on the level. First enemy you see will be up a staircase and he throws a grenade at you. If you're quick enough, he drops the grenade on kill.
The Talos Principle has SO MANY great Easter eggs in it! Have you ever found the jetpack that is hiding on one of the levels. I know you need it to explore another Easter egg on the same level, but I do not recall what that one is
I hardly consider The Stanley Parable one an Easter egg. Everything in that game is carefully tailored around the choices you make. The idea is to find all the crazy alternatives, so obviously a lot of people are going to try this.
I feel like it's kind of an easter egg because of the sheer amount of effort put into it, but also things like the ODDheader reference, you don't put that stuff in the main game even if it's the Stanley Parable
I think the Easter Egg part is more from all of the options at the end, the various perspectives, perceptions, realities, and selves you can swap to, not the actual infinite hole part. Don't recognize all of the different ones, but there was definitely an OddHeader self, one of the realities I recognize from a game I think (the dinosaur fossils), things like that.
@@SisterRose the oddhead was edited in,you can tell from how when he changes perspective during the oddhead frame it switches back to the 2d stanley sprite before he swaps character.
lol, love how how you nodded yes during the Stanley Parable. But I think my favorite easter egg was the Max Payne one with the rats. Adorable AND oddly complex.
Love the Stanley parable easter egg. They are just so well hidden. Everything is not what it seems, I really recommend it for people who are really curious. It's just too perfect. Dedicated to people who are out of their minds.
I don’t know if this necessarily counts as an “Easter egg,” but in Zelda: Skyward Sword and Skyward Sword HD, there’s this one Shiekah stone (gossip stone) inside this cave by the Lanayru Desert sand sea? (It’s the area where there’s a Goron who is trying to mine his way into a rock wall, it’s a circular room with like 3 or 4 exits, and one of the exits leads directly to the yellow Electric Dragon, who allows you to do the “Boss Rush” challenge and earn the Hylian Shield) … in the center of that circular room, the gossip stone is surrounded by bomb flowers, and if you detonate any one of the bomb flowers and watch, the explosion will trigger all the rest of the bomb flowers to explode, also, in a full circle around the gossip stone? And reacting to the circle of explosions, this particular gossip stone will literally take off like a freaking space-exploring rocket, complete with a little after-burner flame underneath him, and he will raise up into the sky and literally leave the room by way of the big hole in the ceiling. He then reappears where he originally was, and you can repeat the animation as many times as you like. Again, this barely qualifies as an “Easter egg,” but it certainly is a cool little hidden detail because it’s the only gossip stone in the game who does that “taking off into space” animation. And I just mention it because I’ve never seen anyone point out this particular secret; not you, not OddHeader, I’ve literally never seen anyone mention it but I was in that room just yesterday trying to do the Boss Rush and earn myself the legendary Hylian Shield, and I realized it would be a cool thing to mention in a list of hidden game details
Another small Stanley Parable easter egg can be found when going into the Mind Control Facility. You can get up on the railing using the chair and table at the end of the walkway and then jump off into the darkness.
There's a few more notable Max Payne easter eggs. In the level before chasing Vinnie Gognitti, there's a secret Soldier of Fortune room, in an earlier level there's the secret "Buffy" room, in a level while fighting Vinnie you can go under stairs and enter a hidden Dopefish room, and in the level "Byzantine Power Game," in the room with the blueprints you can find a VHS and use it in the TV just before the end of that level to reveal a hidden switch which opens a couch leading to a secret sex dungeon with a Star Trek parody video next to it.
I'd classify the returning Becrets and new Elden Ring, Rat Box and Loading Dock 2 Easter Eggs as, well, Easter Eggs - but this one is pretty much just a straight ending.
I glitched Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe with a repeatable glitch. In the route where you end up out of body when in the forced choice between the two doors where choosing the right door causes a redo, run back to the door frame before your position is reset causing the door to be ajar when they should both be shut, run towards the ajar right door causing it to close, the graphics will start to blink, turn to the right to see the warehouse through the blinking, fall through the floor when the door opens, the game resets to the room full of forklifts.
if you pause the video right after the intro where the screen goes black there's a hidden message that reads "welcome everyone to the home of finding sweet chocolate easter eggs within our video games the easter egg hunter"
Spoilers at 11:58- 14:20, people. You have been warned... and sorry, TEEH, but you know how it goes. Reminds me a lot of Gravity Falls' Bottomless Pit, by the way. 14:03: Hello again, oddheader.

Ah that end for Stanley Parable; I remember I got that just because I wanted to insist to the narrator and wow. I was streaming the game in Discord and definetely had a couple of laughs with that.
about talos principle, i was expecting the krystal (star fox) fanart that one of the programers put on the game, i think is documented on the krystal archive page
Well i can only say this with out spoiling who does ever watch the credits , specially on the Stanley parable Ultra Deluxe You got to give credits to the people who deserve credits :D

Talos principle has an absolute ton of easter eggs. It's a fantastic game and there's secrets around every corner. It was very fun trying to find as many of them on my own as I could.
Is that an Easter egg in your video at :47 ? “Welcome everyone to the home of finding sweet chocolate Easter eggs within our video games.” Or is that image just burned into my tv? 😂

Ngl homies, when I saw "Illegal in some states" for an alternate costume for Haunting Grounds I got a bit scared hahah! It's a dominatrix outfit, not something.. uh.. creepy
That Stanley Parable Easter Egg must have been a hole lot of fun. And is it just me, or did one of those Stanley models have an Odd head?
An odd head. What could it mean...
It's ODD indeed
Maybe oddheader, the youtuber?
edit: that HAS to be an oddheader reference
@@saxyj5773 Yeah, lol.
@@saxyj5773 no that cannot be. What could it mean??
One of the alternate Stanley's you can turn into on that infinite hole easter egg is by Cas van de Pol, an animator here on TH-cam!
wasn't he the guy who made alot of the popular maxmoefoe animations, either way his name feels familiar
Another one is Oddheader.
Ooh, what kind of animations?
I recognised that one, he’s awesome!
@@michaelandreipalon359 th-cam.com/video/brs6-uQMfGU/w-d-xo.html
HA! One of those Stanley switches certainly had a very *odd head*...
That's also probably one of the strangest endings I've ever seen.
I noticed that too I was about to go drop a comment on one of his videos but i’m sure he already knows by now

Why be called the Easter egg hunter when u have never found a Easter egg u use other people finds
That last one had quite an ODD easter egg within it

I loved The Stanley Parable, but that new Easter Egg is even better! Oh, and I can nearly do the "Go Outside" achievement on that without cheating :D
4 Years was child's play, 10 years is where real men go to die
Especially since the next patch is going to add some new things according to the steam announcements
I didn’t even know the infinite hole was a secret, I just wanted to continue to hop just cause it was simply a hole lol

Yes
Weeee!

the dying rats tore my heart apart, their painful noises 🐁🥺😖
Captian Eggecelent AND EEH? My day is made! Have a wonderful Saturday Everyone!
Saturdays are the best days for Easter Eggs!
After the nade explodes Max says: "I had declared war on the rats"
The Stanley Parable is an insane game. The level of creativity and random scenarios seem to never end.
That Stanley Parable one is more of a spoiler than a secret
Yeah I was expecting the dark souls easter egg or something, not... one of the common endings?
I have a Stanley Parable secret... I broke one of the routes to fall through the world causing a route loop instead of a reset.
The hole ending is even better with the bucket, because you can see it sitting on the ground when you change the camera angle.
lol, love how how you nodded yes during the Stanley Parable.

it's impressive how the Stanley Parable DE is a game based on secret endings, and still manages to have interesting easter eggs on top of that

The Stanley Parable one was absolutely brilliant and one of my favorite Easter eggs of all time.
That Strangelove reference was so good
There's a backwards message in the endless tunnel as well you missed
The infinite hole; Reminds me of the broom closet ending in the original game. Or the art ending for playing the baby game for 4 real world hours.
Kinda odd that a stanley parable ending is an easter egg, but hey, love the videos!
This. He's putting real endings to the story as easter eggs, spoiling people. The whole point of the game is to be a one big easter egg :(
