What is meant by "positive" and "negative" event ?

An event camera reports when a pixel notices a change in light intensity, and the intensity can increase or decrease - positive change and negative change.
A excellent and all-round talk, and it helps me lot. Besides how do you think the application of Event-Camera in SLAM field? Hope for your answer, thanks a lot!
thanks for the presentation. However I think the comparison is unfair since you are comparing a 4000usd camera to a 400 usd camera. And image reconstruction models during inference do take time
I think I'm in love with these cameras 🥺
Great talk, looking forward to more papers & applications with event cameras!
This work seems so ahead of its time! Thanks a lot for posting this presentation on YT.
What are the differences of an event camera with respect to a traditional sensor used in an optical mouse?
Thank you,
It was a very interesting talk!
A game-changer. Thanks for sharing!
Nice overview. Is there some resource i can look at to understand how the temporal contrast is quantized in the event camera?
Check out the survey paper in the video description. It is there
Exciting. Thanks for the sharing
Amazing talk, many thanks for sharing your insights!

Sir
What is the technology behind event based vision.
Hi , can someone please recommend me a software or ide to work on DAVIS240c dataset/dvs dataset. For a simple motion sensing algorithm
thanks for the presentation. However I think the comparison is unfair since you are comparing a 4000usd camera to a 400 usd camera. And image reconstruction models during inference do take time
Supply and demand. Adoption will bring the price down, just as happened with every piece of technology that exists.
Exciting!
Loved it. great job :)
