    I'll be honest I used to be a knife, snob grabbing name brand knives. But Eafengrow has really turned that on its head they've essentially replaced all my work knifes and EDC's, and I've so far only broke one, and I replaced it immediately.

    Your knife review helped me decide to buy an Eafengrow EF223 , but I got mine in orange. I was surprised how inexpensive it was for all the super quality features it had. When looking at acquiring a new knife for my collection, I seek out your channel to see if you’ve done a review of that knife. Keep up the good work.

    I own/Owned alot of knives. Anything from Mystery retail store folders to popular named Knives such as Buck Knives or Boker/Tree Brand. My most expensive Knife being a few boker Knives. My least expensive being a Mossy Oak random Tac Folder for around 2 bucks. It was not priced at 2 bucks but it was a giftpack and contained many items, so I took the price, and divided it by how many items were inside. Anyways.
    The Eafengrow EF223, Is better than every Knife I have had before. Well. It is for me. Maybe minus the Higo no Kami knife, but that is a different Knife entirely. No knife I have owned opens as smooth, and I have some Assisted Opening, and had at one time, an Automatic Knife which I no longer own. There is absolutely no knife that I own that REMAINS dead center when closed. Either the Liner lock slightly skews or the knives get loose.
    The Blade design is just simple, and beautiful.

    The coolest one I got out of my jade knife binges, is the eafengrow ef915 jade color, it's on ali express, that knife made my addiction to eafengrow knife in Jade color..

    Great video man. I like that knife and have looked at a few Eafengrow knives on Amazon. I haven't got one yet but I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one soon just to get a feel for them. The major issue most people talk about having with Eafengrow knives is how they are very similar to other knives but there is a lot of praise in the reviews over fit and finish, build material, performance, etc. I need to get one to find out. Also, if I didn't know better, just listening to your voice I would swear James Belushi was hosting the video. No dig there brother, I'm a fan of Belushi. Keep being awesome.

    I’ve been checking this knife out for a couple of days, after reading a couple of reviews in this video and a few of other ones, I’ve decided to go ahead and purchase one for myself.

    I've had the EF223 for a couple of months. D2 steel for $19.99? I had my doubts, but after use and even some light buttoning (fatwood). If it's not D2 steel it's a very good imposter. It still slices and dices paper with no sharpening.

    • @Tctbnl
      @Tctbnl  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      My doubt on the steel is my experience that I’ve well documented with the eafengrow 0456. This one is a great budget blade, and performs the daily tasks I need it to, so I’m happy with it. Thanks for watching

    Picked up an orange one on Aliexpress, discounted for the 11.11 sale, plus the store also offered a $2 off coupon, so got it for only $14.66 + free shipping. And they shipped it the next day. Can't wait to get it.
    And I thought it was just me that noticed it looks like the EA logo. :)

      The logo was the only reason I ordered that blade 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    How often should you dissemble a Eafengrow like Ef76 and lube the ball bearings and the race?

    • @Tctbnl
      @Tctbnl  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      For the blades I carry on the daily, generally I give them a “spa treatment” at least twice a month

    Tests on the blades reveal it is not D2, but a chinese stainless. Some tested blades were 5cr, others were 8cr series of steel. The maker lies about D2. It isn't. Disappointing.
