seeing the evolution of artstyle on vengeance makes me really want a remake of the first 2 (maybe origins too) kingdom rush games or just a graphical update on them
I feel the exact opposite. I especially dislike how "beefy" they've been making male characters, I really wish they went back to the simpler, cleaner artstyle, but I understand that the more the team grows so does their art evolve.

This is ultimately a matter of opinion with no objectively correct answer. Both art styles look very good. I am not holding my breath for graphical remakes of the first games. But at the same time I really appreciate how different yet similar the returning characters look in this game.
I don't really like the artstyle of vengeance. Origins has still managed to keep the looks simplistic, which perfectly fit the KR games. However, Vengeance is a bit too much, the colours are too intense, and there is too much detail, which isn't good in this case. The level designs have also become noticeably worse for me at least, partially because there are errors in the landscape. For example, on the waterfalls on the eastern stages, and the gates of the primal stages use the wrong perspective. Even though the KR games are 2 dimensional, its still wrong, and these mistakes weren't as common in previous games
I wish that Legends of Kingdom Rush received the same amount of love as Vengeance receive, but still, yay finally hammerhold is being used again, and with more levels than the extra campaigns tend to get

Best update since Subaquatic Menace!! Ironhide's finally delivering on the potential of having that little tiny bit of Hammerhold & the desert on the bottom corner of the Vengeance map! Honestly hope they go all out on the enemy selection & add the crossbow fort & archmages using their tornados as enemies (maybe even Battle-Mechas as a tank enemy too), it's so cool to actually have Vengeance utilize its premise and have enemies be turned into towers/vice versa, the past few side campaigns have kinda disappointed in this regard
This campaign was honestly amazing, you can really see how improved and smooth the animations are, even with just the standard enemies. The old heroes look great with their new upgraded appearances , and going inside Hammerhold was really cool, seeing what it looks like behind the walls. A suggestion I have with later games, or even updates to Vengeance, is a bio of the locations around the map. On mobile you can see all the landmarks and pois named, and I feel as though the PC version of the game is lacking that detail. So maybe you could add it so that when you click these locations on the map it pulls up a description card and shows the name and history about the location or something like that. For example, clicking on stormcloud temple might say something like: "Stormcloud temple, home of some of the greatest sorceres in all of Linnerea. etc..." That would really add some life to the world and would be really cool!

I would just like to praise the different way they bundled it this time. With other expansions, paying each time for a hero, a tower felt expensive. This time I felt getting new stages, a hero, and tower bundled up was a much better value.
Incredible, I was expecting a new installment, taking us to emplore the frontier map, with new towers and heroes, but i did not expect this update at all... now we only need new campings for the other two areas of the map and new towers or one to returns to the origins map
This update is actually pretty cool from previews I think you did an outstanding job iron hide! but maybe the hero should have a bit more health he looks like he dies quickly but almost looks like a tank.

From my speculations : Hero- will have: Instakill,sending Swarm of flies (dmg over time, potential stun) range attacks, able to shoot meteors from The sky ( one of Them glowed blue so maybe it will have chance to be powered up), able to shoot and slow enemies with thunderbolts, and he will be able to summon mummies from dead corpses wich act like a skeleton warriors going down The path and killing on sight (possible passive). Tower- will be able to shoot venomous balls like artillery tower (good range), will be able to send spikes down The path (possible slow,dmg over time), able to send Dune Terrors (wich Also act like skeleton warriors but they are underground, possible op tactic against enemy tower), and most inportantly… he will eat enemies (who would have guessed) I rly hope this comment will be helpful.
