It WAS worth it! From a buy to keep standpoint, that was fair and he might’ve come down too. Just wasn’t profitable unless you took it to a con or something. But I had to share that I saw it there. Super cool to see!

The feels, right??! I remember being 11 years old and unwrapping games just like those at Christmastime and birthdays. It’s still exciting to open those cases and pull out the carts!

Look like a great day at the market. I don't think I could held back from buying that NES. To find that out in the wild and not have to worry about it getting damaged in shipping, you sir stick to the mission, I respect that.
It was definitely worth the price if it was for keeps. It was pristine as balls. In hindsight, and others have commented this, I should’ve offered 150 and just tried for it. How many unplayed nes consoles could possibly still be out there?
Zelda case--but games of gold it seems, gooood lawd! Nice price on that first Wii though. Wow, those console prices 4 minutes in is getting a bit risky...way more for me and my luck. Liking the retro finds though, some very, very nice titles in the mix; love me a good compilation.

I would’ve offered $150 on the Nintendo for my personal collection. On the Series X, I would’ve walked as well. It could’ve been defective or stolen. Not willing to risk it. Glad you’re back at the good ol’ Flea. Do you have best luck on Saturday or Sunday?
I go more on Saturdays because that’s kinda my day. But there’s different sellers there on different days. I’ve had less Sundays that I’ve gone but I have had some really great Sundays!

Itll be at SFGE at the end of July. Not sure if I’m speaking on Friday or Saturday yet, but I will do a formal announcement when the schedule is up.
Also I’ll be on a creator panel with Retro Ralph and CaptNRetro. The focus this year is content creation and yt guru type shop-talk. I’ve talked game hunting for years and I wanted to shift gears and provide some insight for new creators.

I would have taken the chance on the Series X only if was complete with cables and the controller. Smart move passing on it.
It seemed like something was off there… all those open box tablets and laptops… it seemed like maybe a defect lot or something. I’ve actually caught people selling defect pallet stuff there and lying about it too! Makes me overthink some things.

It was! I haven’t seen Genesis stuff there in quite awhile. And it wasn’t rare or expensive, but at this point, finding any at all is kinda rare. 10 years ago, hunting was much easier!
@@Emceemur the secret is (unfortunately) out! I saw a CIB Joe Montana Football 93 at a yard sale last week in that classic box style and I should've picked it up on principle! Loved that game.

Yeah some of the prices I get from these people are really out in left field. Dudes are out here sellin launch Xbones for $450 and it's like.... that's a decade old brick, bruh. Lol
I would have and if it was defective I would have slapped a controller with it, hdmi, plug(bought from a thrift), and traded that defective system into GS! 385 without a refurb fee…still would have profited.

LOL even so, they did ok. They wanted 8 on the games which is exactly what they’d have netted on eBay. But then they’d have to ship em and guarantee em. So $5 is good. Later they were spending the money at a sports card table I stopped at. Nothing beats a fun day at the flea!
Oooh. Series X and NES box system. So tempting on both. Would have been cool to have seen you wheel and deal on those.
I might’ve been able to get em. But ida had 3 hundo in em total best case. And I ended up investing all the cash I brought elsewhere. I hesitate on big buy ins early in the walk. But sometimes that may not be the right play. I’da kept that NES! Lol

Yeah $150 would’ve definitely worked if IT worked. Because I had the parts. But something seemed off there. All the ipads and bogus laptops… I dunno, I ended up spreading the money around elsewhere. New episodes incoming!

BIG dice. Guys like Phoenix Resale, Rick & Chase who deal in more volume, can take a hit on something like that and bounce right back. But doing the weekend warrior thing like I do, a $200 loss could take 2 weeks to recoup. It can be scary! I did buy a digital XBone for $100 once. But it had the controller at least. And it did work. But you never know.

It came from M.C. Mur which was the name I rapped under. My last show was in 2009. Emceemur was the phonetic spelling that years later I used as a gamertag. Then even more years later I named the channel that.
I recorded this in 2020 with CaptNRetro at his guitarist’s studio. The first gaming related song I’ve ever done.

No, I didn't. Their dad was off screen unloading his truck. Those were all his items. Untested from a storage locker he bought. He okayed the offers and was cool with them. He just had his kids taking the money. The Wii ended up working so I put new parts with it. I donated it to a friend of a friend who needed one for a senior center they worked at. It was really a happy ending for everyone. Including the Wii. Thanks for watching.
