Can I ask how you got around since it seems like you did this in one day? Did you just drive and park and walk from location to location? Was it expensive/hard to find parking? Thanks in advance will be in LA in 2 weeks so excited!! 😄
@@MichaelMartello That was also my question. Do we just take Uber from Melrose to Venice beach, to Santa Monica? Or is that too expensive? I'm afraid of driving by the hills/coastal sides -can never do the pacific coast highway drive.
@@Mia-ht8oi Yes you can take an Uber; there will be traffic going west so can take up to 45 min or so going from Melrose to Venice. For the cheapest option can take the line 4 bus from W. Hollywood -> Santa Monica.
Amazing content bro… I’m a local but this video was a gem very informative. No better feeling than having the day to yourself and exploring LA and just vibing.
We're coming to LA in September. I'd love to go to the Griffith Observatory early in the morning but the hours on the website say it doesn't open until midday during the week. How did you get to go up there so early? Cheers
Question... Is the homeless situation really bad there ? I'm hearing people say it's everywhere so I'm looking for confirmation. LA is my dream city and I don't want to move someplace where there's crime, excessive homeless, trash/dirty,etc.
@@raceboy9517 I'd say it's still pretty bad in some places more so than others. LA county is massive as you can see from Michael's video here so it really depends on where you are. Like Angela mentioned LA is a metropolis, a sprawling one, so like any major US city you will have crime and in some places dirty of course. But again it depends where you're trying to move to in LA county.
@@JustEraseTheSystem I mean is it like noticable everywhere you go ? (Can you see them on every street ?) And I'm think about moving to either San Diego or Santa Clarita (LA county).
Hi Michael ❤ Is end of September a good time to visit California? Maybe do videos on how each month is like and what are the vibes? Love the warm weather but not the 100F 😅
Hi Mike, I enjoyed your video. What month exactly you shoot the video? Is it really in early May? I saw you just wear a t-shirt, is it hot there? I plan to go to LA in early May, should I bring jacket or sweater? Thanks.
Hey, gracias por compartir esos videos.voy hacer honesta empezó a verlos por la forma en la que hablas me ayuda mucho con mi ingles, pero luego tu contenido atrapo mi atención.... una nueva seguidora.
Can you please recommend a hotel to stay in LA, a mom with 2 teens stating for a week in LA and want to see it all. Just confused on where to stay. What hotels. Thanks so much
Did you have a drone for some of the footage used in this video? Edit: just saw you used a drone near the end of the video haha. You can use drones in Cali, especially in Malibu and Venice beach right? Would love to bring mine for an upcoming trip
The only way to guarantee seeing celebs is to plan your trip around Wonder Con (or another Con), one of the Q&A's at film screenings or go to a taping of a late night show. All require research & planning ahead, but you WILL see celebs, if that's your goal!
I keep trying to tell licals about El Matador too! They never go. Typical Angelinos! BTW, I *HATE* Runyan Canyon! My mom lived around there. Such a mess. There are plenty of strenuous walks around the Observatory, like the Bird Sanctuary and plenty of it parking.
just stumbled upon this - a little tip, mix your music levels or use a gain control, the differences from when you're speaking to when the music interludes is sometimes way too extreme (forcing me to turn down / up during video) - otherwise good stuff mate, keep goin!
hi, may i know where u live during in la? i would be there mid june, n kinda on budget where i can access foods n easy transportation to everywhere. thx
Hello !! Im from Germany & i will visit LA for the first time in my life this year ( Summer) so im looking for somebody who can show me this beautiful City ???
There are still a lot of closings I've noticed, such as the Getty Museum which hasn't been open since pre-covid. Many places require reservations in advance that you didn't have to previously reserve. Definitely check the websites as they'll let you know about closures and reservations. CA fully reopens 6/15 so many restrictions will be lifted!
I legit can't stop watching your videos. I love them so much
This is honestly the most useful LA video out there! Thanks for all those practical tips!
Appreciate it Eleanor!!!
Outstanding. Hills , streets, beaches, everything with info.

Parking is the worst part of LA! If you won’t have a car, Uber is a good option so you can avoid it. Enjoy your trip :)

Hey Michael, great video! Question, would you recommend renting a car or just use Uber/bus to get around?
Hey thanks personally I would choose to rent a car!

Los angeles is metropolis. Ladera ranch, Huntington Beach tourist towns

This was shot in April! It will most likely be T-shirt weather as it usually is. Bring a jacket for nighttime - it gets chilly!
You put your drone gear on the sand 😮😮😮, nice DJI pro controller by the way.
