Idk... I get that he is one of if not the most popular character in MK, but I feel they've been trying to give him too much spot light in recent years. Yes, him and Sub-Zero have one of the best rivalries in fiction. And his story is indeed good. However, the story how Scorpion's uprising and his unending rivalry with Sub-Zero is beginning to become VERY stale. It's been so done so many times now. From the original games to the current reboot, and not 1 but 2 different movies in live action and animated have focused on this story as well. It's getting old. And just like many many other fan favorite characters that are originally side characters, they work BEST as a side character and not a main character.

It's tiresome to see the protagonistes and antagoniste just oblitaring them with not even trying. They are powerful and skilled, ok, that shouldn't make them invincibles, why are thoses soldiers even training for then?

His design could be inspired by Scott Steiner 'Big Poppa Pum', Hulk Hogan, "Ravishing" Rick Rude or Lex Luger. Pure physical strength, powerful blows, great defense and respectable speed and destructive and brutal grappling techniques. His techniques could be inspired by those of Cesaro, Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit... I always wondered why mk didn't have his own Zangief? And I do know that Kintaro, Goro, Jax, Kano and even Kurtis Stryker have wrestling techniques, Greco-Roman wrestling and grappling techniques in general but those characters are infinitely far from being pure wrestlers... Mk has good characters based on fighters from the real world such as LIU KANG = Bruce Lee, Johnny Cage = Van Damme but it would be perfect if mk had his own Hulk Hogan

I love the Fujin and JC combo, Fujin has patience for Johnny’s antics and they are two of my personal favorites of the MK franchise
