Because they weren't really all that original in comparison to other Dokkan originals at the time. The only unique thing wasn't even just a Dokkan thing, with the double special beam cannon. Vegito has the Vegito Special, and Gogeta has some weird neat but not as original Galick dimension kamehameha or whatever. But Beast? The only new thing was his active skill, which was just him flexing for aura farming by walking slow.
It’s cool how even I’m starting to put together manga/anime references through years of seeing how they choreograph specific characters’ fighting styles, and Ultimate Gohan has always been my favourite for his flare. The heavy finish I recognised from SSB Goku as a side-step rush chain and how far it can carry him, but seeing how ergonomic and particular about what to recycle and what to uniquely animate for a set of characters with a lineage (like Goku has trained with Gohan on a number of occasions, Frieza and Cooler sharing some animations as brothers) Some may say it’s rehashing, but I enjoy that kind of detail, and switching up the rush chains order from character to character still helps them to feel unique enough to an extent as well.
how tf are people saying it's a dokkan asset when dokkan uses exclusively 2d animation that's literally just based on the actual anime, dokkan just mirrors the anime, and 2d animation can't just be used "as an asset" in a 3d game
@kaleedalex9741 explain to me how it's a reference to dokkan when dokkan itself is literally just emulating the anime, because from where I'm standing it sounds like dokkan players are insisting it's about them and not that the game is just copying the anime as it does with every other character
@@FennKitFox that's easy dokkan mirrors the anime most of the time we know that But that exact attack of Gohan it's not in the anime or manga in any of his forms. Dokkan has his original animations Like the 18 ki of Gogeta blue of last anniversary that attack don't exist in the anime. Happens the same with Gohan
@kaleedalex9741 brotha, it's a headbutt, dokkan doesn’t own that, especially when the exact same move and animation is present on multiple other characters in the roster, and the high kick he did is also something he's literally already done, they're just basing it on other moves he's done, beast or not, he did that same high kick in xenoverse 2 far before dokkan did too if we wanna try and compare to other games. None of the examples he gave were acually FROM dokkan, just attacks gohan has done before in dragon ball. The ONLY one i could give is his beam, but it's not like one handed blasts with a low camera angle are something unique, and calling the opening punch of beam canon a dokkan ref when it's just a generic big punch.
