My favourite part about this video is how it highlights people’s complaints about each incarnation. Comes to show why every other studio is content w simply repackaging their IPs in an unoriginal mush of lack of creativity. Since they still make billions of dollars off the same thing, why would they change anything?

Unremarkable 2007 film? That just broke my heart. I'd call it the underrated 2007 film. It's really awesome and more people should give it a chance.

Watching this after Mutant Mayhem in 2023 and yeah their not dead they’re getting a last Ronin video game, follow up a series to Mutant Mayhem and after that a Mutant Mayhem sequel.

If Rise Of TMNT episodic series, was same like its movie, it would've been better.
Yeah… for me TMNT starts in the OG cartoon and ends at the end of the futuristic arc of 2003 series. That way we get the multiverse, the classic movies, the video games that matter, and an epic main line story.

Idk why people keep acting like the 2012 version made the turtles younger it didn’t in original Mirage comics they were only 13 in the first issue when they killed the Shredder and they got older from there but incarnations they have been portrayed as between the ages of 13 and 16 at least as the show starts they then grow older as the go on but people specifically seem bothered by the fact that the 2012 version seems younger but that’s just cause they actually acted like teenagers like the name suggests it’s such a terrible complaint in my eyes

This is but one of SEVERAL reasons why Venus in particular and Next Mutation in general are the WORST contributions to TMNT lore ever conceived.

The Nickelodeon show wasn't an improvement in CG of the TMNT movie.
The 2012 series? It was alright,but yea the CGI movie totally looked better
The things they improved in the 2012 series were the fighting scenes (especially when Splinter was involved), the fact that each characters had their own arcs to go through (Splinter's being the most heartening), and just the dialogue and story pacing in general (which was the 2007's movie biggest flaw)
But there's something very special about the tone itself of the 2007 movie that they failed to replicate in the 2012 series. The way the camera was shot, the rooftop running scenes, the dark tone with brief moments of levity from Mikey, it was just great
