You Know Boetie... You do fantastic videos... You do very well for yourself and Huge Respect to you...
I do however miss the days gone by when we as Rhodesian/Zimbabwean folk could hunt Lekker Game. Ethnically (As we were brought up..) as and when we wanted..!!
It's now turned into such a Business and sadly becomes more and more difficult even for the wealthy Tourists (So very Much needed to our Economy) to bring in their own "Gats" to experience an "Enalible Right" of Freedom of passage and enjoyable hunting...!!
The Hoops one "Aqueous's" to now days just to do what is natural is unacceptable..!!!
Many may get my Drift.. Many may not..??
Cheers 🍻
Yes its an expensive game now
@charlieking-williams9725 I agree with you 100% - I definitely agree that tropy hunting is necessary for the preservation and conservation of wildlife and wild resources, but I also 100% agree that some allotment must be made for the locals to hunt as well. It would need to be managed and certainly not everyone would be able to hunt, but there should be a "tag draw" for the locals like we have here in the U.S., and it should be affordable for the locals, like we do with in-state tags for state residents, as opposed to the high cost of tags for out-of-state hunters.
Poaching definitely needs to be managed (stopped), but the locals should not ever be completely shut off from hunting their local game, except in the case that they are highly endangered like the Rhino - and then no one should be hunting them.

I moustache you a question: What was the official horn measurement of that Kudu Bull? Did anyone weigh him, by any chance? Great episode, btw. Thanks.
With mustaches like that, failure isn't an option.
Relly enjoi your channel.
Thanks Francouis
Hello. Why is Charles using/shooting a right hand bolt rifle with his left hand? Andrew
🎉nice hunt
Many thanks
What would it take for me to travel overseas and work for you guys? ill get a visa if i have to
Hasn't the upcoming hyena episode been aired before on your channel?
yes its the last re run
Im always interested in seeing the rifles folks decide to use.
In this case, Ive never understood the need for a giant muzzle brake. Even the heaviest hitting cartridge isnt really that bad at all, and it doesnt mitigate the force as much to make the giant blast worth it.
My goodness they make shooting worse, in my opinion. Id take the heavier hit over the concussive blast any day.
At least this guys a good shot 😂
I hate a muzzle blast. Makes filming tough. The poor PHs are the ones that suffer most. Andy
Obviously, you don't understand what they are for - to reduce muzzle flip so you can stay on target better and make quicker follow-up shots. Not so much to reduce felt recoil (they do reduce felt recoil, but that is not their most important utility).
Most of these animals require a second, and often a third, shot. With a little practice with a muzzle brake you can easily stay on target and make very quick followup shots even with heavy magnums. Also the ability to stay on target enables you to see exactly where you hit, and even watch bullet trace.
Compared with the wild, unwieldy muzzle flip I see so many of these hunters fighting, I'd vastly prefer to use a muzzle brake. And a good muzzle brake sends the concussive blast away from the shooter, so it actually makes shooting much better, in my opinion (for the shooter anyway - not for the poor PH - woof - those guys need some active hearing protection).
@@TheGreatWhiteNorth1 Obviously, you are ignorant and don't care to learn. You're definitely a classic "Internet Tough Guy" though - thanks for the laugh :). Anyway, enough wasting time on you ...
@@TheGreatWhiteNorth1 You are certainly a classic "Internet Tough Guy" - thanks for the laugh :).
What caliber is his rifle?
Fine Question Sir...?? Granted bigger is better..? (Apparently..?) That looks like a 458.. or 375...? Totally an over kill for game of that nature... Stand me corrected...!
Cheers 🍻
