Hi Gena I was struggling with my hair, despite leaving my hair curly for a few years now. Menopause had done a number on it and it was really dry and unmanageable (already course textured and curly with wavy bits). I finally got it chopped from waist length when wet to just below shoulder length (about twelve inches off, so a big chop lol). It’s so light and bouncy now (my head feels about a stone lighter), but more importantly it’s healthier and much easier to maintain. I always had trims and use good quality products plus a bonnet etc, but it was still so dry and difficult to deal with. It’s like having new hair and my curls look more bouncy and defined. I had long spirals before but it has much more volume now. Another bonus is the reduced dry time and how much less time it takes on wash day or refreshing. Best wishes x
I have to refresh my hair EVERY DAY. That is amazing that you don't have to refresh until day 4.
Your results are amazing! I almost always use the Verb Curl Foaming Gel to refresh my curls... it works so well for refreshes!!

Completely agree. I don't understand how anyone gets good hold with it, because I can't gett good hold with it.
My hair always looks bad by day two and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong
My problem always is the bangs cause coarse as well. I remember starting my transition I used DevaCurl , but like very much Ouidad
However I am hooked up with CurlSmith 😂. As soon I get a cortisone shot for my disorder (pain) I used the serum of CS believe me or not I didn’t shed absolutely none of my thin silver curl, cause those shots is part of the side affects it says rare cases but I know I’ll get the rare😂. Your tutorials has been helpful . Appreciate your hard work❤

I can't brush style because my hair will stretch out...any suggestions to style hair without a brush? I've even bought a tangle teezer brush in the hopes it would work better, but it doesn't. 😭
Brush Styling is not for everyone. I have slightly wavy hair and brushed my hair for almost 30 years after I showered, so my hair is used to just stay stright (now poofy) when I brush it. I tried the Denman and the tangle teezer and it did not work for me. Might be because I developed waves in menopause or I don't know. They get stringy and the clumps break up and stay straight.
Gena posted a video a few weeks back and said she used a light wet brush. You could try that?
