This is very cheap believe me when the worlds most expensive turntable without anything is wait for it $650,000 but the 2nd place which still is my fav is only again with nothing other than the turntable $330,000 and it looks gorgeous..The most expensive one looks horrible lol
Parsing Elf Well, if I was in Bill Gates' income bracket, I'd buy one of these machines in a heartbeat. Being a retired teacher, however, I'll stick with my Audio-Technica and Denon turntables. They sound fine to me.
Yeah, high end audio gets to ridiculous prices. It's due to the extremely small quantities they are making. It costs outrageous sums of money to design, mfg, and market things that sell in extremely small quantity. That's why costs go up on a log scale level. For me? I buy used when I can and let someone else absorb the initial hit. Audiogon is a great resource for used high end gear.
They talk about the cost as if it was the norm o I will just pop down to my hifi shop and pick one up its not a lot of money and honey dont forget to by a cartridge the cheap one will do its only $15000.
"can I have this to use at home? No just kidding." hilarious.
$22,000??? Sounds insane to me but, then, I'm no expert on such things.

I'll stick to my $400 turntable. To me, it sounds just fine.
