Madeira Island from east to west

This dramatic 4k UHD video uses aerial and time-lapse photography to explore normally unseen aspects of the stunning mountain spine that runs down the island of Madeira from the eastern tip at Ponta de São Lourenço to the most western point at Ponta do Pargo. Key locations along the route include Pico do Areeiro, Pico Ruivo, Encumeada, Bica da Cana, Fanal and Ribeira da Janela.
The route passes along many of the popular trails including :
PR1 - Vereda do Areeiro,
PR1.2 - Vereda do Pico Ruivo,
PR1.3 - Vereda da Encumeada,
PR 6 Levada do Rabacal,
PR 6.2 - Leveda do Alecrim,
PR8 - Vereda do Ponta de São Lourenço,
