I found the Natural Pools of Porto Moniz fascinating but I was mostly drawn to Porto do Funchal. It would allow one to immerse oneself in the history and culture of the region. Thanks for sharing 👍*
Fanal was and is my favorite place on Madeira. Especially in the morning or late in the afternoon , when most tourists are eating. then it is calm and refreshing for the mind
