My biggest gripe about Audible is the fact that it is also region restrictive so certain Audiobooks, is not available on say (US) when I’m subscribe to audible UK
Just out of curiosity, and I’m sure you’ve probably looked into this, do other platforms struggle with the same regional restrictions on book availability? I looked up why Audible does this and if I’m not mistaken, the reason is actually legal and involves copyright law.
This is true and if I’m not mistaken, this is not up to Audible. It’s actually up to someone involved in the production or publishing of the book itself, presumably the author or publisher. I normally do book reviews on this channel and it drives me insane when authors do this on their books so I always make sure to mention it in the review!
I still use the services of a local public library that offers to its members over 70K of audio books "free". Yes,we know nothing comes free to us .We taxpayers pay for these services and I like to get some value back for my money.
Which one would you rather use? Audible or Audiobooks?

Some books have chapters with names, other just number of chapter? Why? Its difficult when you cant see name of the chapter 😞

Audible is the best👍
Have you tried both?
Audible’s fantastic. I haven’t tried both myself but a lot of people who do will say Audible’s superior.

If you pay for it, it may as well be used!
