Elvis did die it the bathroom. When he was found he had been dead for a while. They did work on him at the hospital, but there was really no possibility of revival. It is sad he died all alone.
@@SamuelEarth If I recall, that part of the book was being recalled as her 9 year old self. When he was found in the bathroom, the people made an effort to keep her away from the incident. She would have only known/ seen him collapsed and being taken to the hospital. The information about him being already dead came from Joe Esposito that was called to come upstairs when Elvis was found on the floor. (Joe Esposito was part of Elvis’ entourage.)He has stated that it was obvious from the body that Elvis had been dead for sometime. So, I don’t think that was made clear in the book as the incident was from her point of view.
Have you checked out the new memoir by Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough?

It’s very sad. This isn’t the exact impression I got from the book but maybe I wasn’t paying close enough attention during that part.

@@tlo3571 Oh goodness, that makes so much sense. Thank you so much for clarifying this!
He was already in rigour mortis state before reaching the hospital. The documentary by Dr Richards who did his autopsy explains everything.
I also have the book
I remember you were interested in the book! What did you think of it?
