Each platform adds its own flavour. Recently goldensound made a review and concluded tidal is better. Why? The catalogue is a bit greater, has bit perfect without need of USB audio player pro , has videos in the catalogue and atmos/spatial audio for those interested. Qobuz which I have has booklets of the music and the magazine section which tidal doesn’t. But something frustrating of qobuz is that you have to have the app open to download things , I don’t remember if tidal needs this.
The only thing one should go for Qobuz is the magazine section and the availability of music booklets in many releases. The sound for me is quite similar. Tidal has better bass and Qobuz better highs. But the difference is MINIMAL, you need to go back and forth several times to find a little spot of differences, so it’s at the “nuance” level
@@luciensin-ilie927 no Tidal now has left MQA behind and transferring all available tracks the same as Qobuz hires - so now there is no better choice than Tidal for vast selection and quality of tracks plus Qobuz limits the playlists unlike Tidal - JM AUDIO Editions now uses only Spotify and Tidal and dropped Qobuz out since it lacks so many tracks and doesn't have any sonic advantage anymore
Wow 2 publications the same day. Interesting to hear about these two music platforms that I do not really know before this presentation. Now, Qobuz seems to me more familiar (and I learn about is huge quality). Tidal must be great for me because I target US market as independant artist. How about the artist profile management ; is it as easy or possible as on Spotify ?
Before you move, a warning: if you listen to classical you're not going to like the track listing!.....not if you want to know who wrote the piece you're listening to! I'm thinking of going back to Tidal now they've 'rationalized' their subscription rates and ditched MQA.
they dropped MQA and now have the same hires as qobuz so this video is outdated
Qobuz is studio recording quality no one is beatable now in music streaming world

This feels like a highschool presentation
Tidal also offers 24 and up to 192, not just 96kH.
There's no MQA anymore 😂
on Qobuz ? so is it still the best music platform?

The library management on Tidal is horrendous. Every day, it drives me more to move away to Qobuz.

QOBUZ 100%. I just cancelled Tidal.
Qobuz more analytical and cleaner. All subjective anyways.
