If you find yourself in a similar situation with a creme brulee again, You can always heat up the back of a metal spoon over a burner (safely of course) and press it down onto of the sugar to caramelize it. This was a method we were taught in culinary school in case a torch wasn't available.
Always wanted to do Stealth Camping but haven't got the time or opportunities to do it yet. Ken, you're an inspiration, and these videos are living memoirs of the perfect ways of stealth camping. Such entertaining & engaging videos. All the best wishes to you! ☺💚
Great videos man! just wanted to give you a tip that will change your life. Buddy of mine told me about it a few years back. Take the donuts you ate in this video and buy them next time you go camping. roast them over the fire like a marshmallow but not so much in the flame, the goal is to crisp the glaze thats covering it. ( about 3-4 mins) away from direct flame, let cool for about a minute or 2. TRUST ME YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT cheers
My favorite 🥣 cereals from my childhood , were Cinnamon toast crunch, Frosted flakes, and Lucky Charms. Wow I would give anything to be able to go back in time when things were so good. . Thank you for the walk down memory lane.
Ken you are supposed to eat gnocchi like traditional pasta. With tomato sauce, marinara, pesto, grated cheese, etc! Us Eye-talians make them with flour and ricotta cheese.
Ken you should bring back the Drive thru checklist for a video! Was watching your videos from 7 years ago and you did this awesome checklist, like for the bill/receipt napkins, drink, straw, if the fries are hot and the actual item!! I really loved it!!
Pro Tip for you Ken, on the last minute of the ravioli i would have added the sauce to the pot for about 2 mins before serve, would warm the sauce a bit
The potato things you cooked in the pan are called gnocchi pronounced: (nyyo-kee). They are an Italian cuisine, usually boiled, then sautéed in heavy amounts of butter and cream, and garlic. Additional toppings can be Parmesan, chives, bacon & onions, and even breadcrumbs. Generally They are not served as a main dish, they are a side dish, or an appetizer. Hope this helps!
Here on the gulfcoast that sushi would cost over $10. You're right about the rice drying out if not freshly made. Good video! Never saw samosas in my Walmart.
I think you should do the Tickled Toad next for sure! Loving the stealth camping as always! My favorite cereals as a kid were Fruity Pebbles, Cookie Crisp and Cinnamon Life.
Ken, gnocchi (pronounced NYO-kee) is pasta made from potatoes, and typically it’s served just like any other pasta, with marinara or a cream sauce. Next time you pick up some definitely give it a try! Gnocchi is one of my favorite foods
absolute favorite cereal of all time for me: Count Chocula; favorite pop-tarts? cherry, strawberry, cinnamon. Used to love the Dutch Apple flavor when I was a kid, but they don't make it anymore. :(
Now you'll find out if Rusty is water tight. LOL. I would eat the pasta them by themselves with some sauce and cheese on top. Franken Berry was the other cereal. I buy the Fun Pack cereal with the 8 little boxes of different cereals. My top Three Cereals. Lucky Charms, Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes. A friend of mine found Captain Crunch at the dollar store. He ate the whole box and ripped the top of his mouth up. He said it made drinking his coffee interesting. LOL. I like the new member lists. They're easier to read. I hope you do the Tickled Toad next. Great Stealth camp. Thanks and Take care/
Definitely the Tickled Toad Ken. Great stealth video. Cereals, ate mostly shredded wheat as a kid. But top three would be 1. Life 2. Shreddies 3. Cheerios
I ate a lot of Pop-Tarts as a bachelor. 🤣 Frosted brown sugar cinnamon. Yum! I got a good chuckle watching your time lapse segment, trying to sleep. I would toss and turn, too, sleeping in a parking lot. Cheers.
How do you choose a favorite cereal I love all thr sugary ones and they release so many new ones these days. But top 3 OG would be 1. Cinnimon toast crunch 2. Fruit loops 3. Rice crispies (loved the vanilla ones)
My top 3 cereals growing up where y were 1.Alphabits 2. Golden Grahams 3.Corn Pops (all sugary cereals so i wasnt always allowed to have them or had to have fruit with them LOL)
Come over to England and hire a mini van or motorhome and tour our wonderful countryside exploring the English food .... It's changed so much and local businesses have amazing homemade products ..... Cheese's , pies, lovely vegetables and fruits 👍🇬🇧
My top 3 cereals: 1) Fruit Loops, 2) Honey Nut Cheerios, then 3) Frosted Flakes. And they all need to soak in the milk for at least a couple minutes to get slightly soggy.
Hello, this van life video was a lot of fun to produce, I hope you have fun watching it. If you’re hungry for more then check out this playlist… tinyurl.com/3mvt66mz BTW What was your favourite food item in this video? Ken 😎
The strawberry cereal you were trying to think of was Frankenberry. I liked Golden Grahams, Life, and Count Chocula. Recently I bought Chocolate Toast Crunch and it was awesome, Chocolatey Cinnamon Toast Crunch😋
Have you thought of contacting a local Camper Van retailer to see if they be interested in you reviewing their range even if it was used vans it’s a free way for them to advertise. After all your doing it every time you do a video.
Can you add to future videos how much calories you consumed during the 24 hours stealth camping... Would be nice to add up the calories as you go... Like a counter... Just wondering if its possible.
The chicken strips and wedges are my go to for lunch It sucks cause our deli/hot counter shuts down after 3. Then they put the leftover in the hot bin where you got it out of. Still good though. Not bad. Great vid! 👍💥
Some suggestions for future stealth camps: -Superstore/Save On Foods -IKEA -Humpty’s -IHOP -Smitty’s -Canadian Brewhouse -Wimpy’s -Symposium Cafe/Neabours (Lindsay Square Mall area) I also like the idea of doing one certain type of food (Italian, Indian etc) for 24 hours. Maybe try a couple different places and end up camping at one or if you can do it at one place. Also, doing a “24 hours stealth camp at low/high rated restaurants”
Would also love to see you try “omg! What a hot dog” in Belleville (if you haven’t already), as well as Birdy’s. Oh and the Flying Saucer restaurant in Niagara would be really cool too :)
Another great video Ken! Just curious - why not make the stealth window coverings for the front windows and windshield? Then you wouldn’t have to worry about the sheet being high enough and lights being seen? Keep up the great videos!
I loved Count Chocula when I was a kid!! PS I believe Count Chococula & maybe some of his buddies is usually on the grocery shelf around Halloween!!! 🦇
Never thought i would be watching videos of someone eating, but your personality and down to earth character pulls me in to watch..thx for the videos Ken.shout out from Pittsburgh, Pa
Walmart is a pretty nifty spot to camp out, too bad you didnt have a grill, you could've tailgated and thrown some Brats on it. that being said i really like their rotisserie chicken, can polish off a whole one without much trouble.
Another great amazing stealth camping video keep up the good work with future videos I like for top 3 cereals 1. Chocolate Rice Krispies 2.Trix 3. Lucky Charms
My cereal top 3 list: 1. Fruit Loops (Tried them a couple years ago for the first time in two decades and I feel they are less sweet than back in the day) 2. Coco puffs 3. Honey Smacks
Awesome video as always. Love your videos brother, very cool. Love what you do. I just baught me a steering wheel tray off Amazon like yours. Can't wait to use it. Keep the videos coming! Have a great day and take care. 😁👍👍
Am I the only one who finds it extremely unsafe to put a cooker on top of a highly inflammable towel? Not to mention that he is cooking inside instead of just doing it outside, where it’s way safer. I am really concerned for his health
I have a super sweet back seat bed now for my F150. I love sleeping in there. Some nights, even at home I really just want to sleep in there. I have a nice 20v DeWalt fan and a 17" DVD player back there and think about just camping in my driveway at times! It is that nice! Ken, do you ever just want to sleep in your rigs?
Hello there great video enjoy all your vighost very Entertaining and fun to watch. My 3 favorite cereals as a kid. Was mr. T' And peckman. And Nintendo. Cereal. Thank you for your time. Thank you for doing these videos You have a great day

thats not something to be proud of....
Right it's not that much maybe 10 tenders max
Always pisses me off when he says shit like that.
Always wanted to do Stealth Camping but haven't got the time or opportunities to do it yet. Ken, you're an inspiration, and these videos are living memoirs of the perfect ways of stealth camping. Such entertaining & engaging videos. All the best wishes to you! ☺💚
i just absolutely love the sound of rain in a car

Ken you are supposed to eat gnocchi like traditional pasta. With tomato sauce, marinara, pesto, grated cheese, etc! Us Eye-talians make them with flour and ricotta cheese.
Yes we do
Also suppose to boil them. When they’re ready they float to the top. Ciao
Ken you should bring back the Drive thru checklist for a video! Was watching your videos from 7 years ago and you did this awesome checklist, like for the bill/receipt napkins, drink, straw, if the fries are hot and the actual item!! I really loved it!!
OMG....another Ken-ism with Gnocchi. LMAO.
Ken-ism 😂
Pro Tip for you Ken, on the last minute of the ravioli i would have added the sauce to the pot for about 2 mins before serve, would warm the sauce a bit
24:54
Wait, why would you put something raw in with something that's damn near done cooking???
The potato things you cooked in the pan are called gnocchi pronounced: (nyyo-kee). They are an Italian cuisine, usually boiled, then sautéed in heavy amounts of butter and cream, and garlic. Additional toppings can be Parmesan, chives, bacon & onions, and even breadcrumbs. Generally They are not served as a main dish, they are a side dish, or an appetizer.
Hope this helps!
Great with a meat sauce too. Love them.
Specifically, they’re a potato based pasta/dumpling, and absolutely delicious
I was yelling at the video saying, you gotta put sauce on the gnocchi too lol
i never tried them before they look like pasta but they are not really pasta i wanna try them now

They are eaten with goulash, stew and they can also be served with various sauces (spicy, cheesy and other sauces). They always remind me of my grandma who used to make them by hand.
