Answer: 1.5-10 meter away from ur room.. 2.no u can not take desktop in IIT/NIT/IIIT hostels 3.Bed is not going to provide u..U should buy from outside 4.Every year 5.Aftet Ist semester u are free to roam everywhere Hope it will help😊😊

I don't exactly know much about these two. I heavenly heard about NIT Kurukshetra. Try to ask some seniors about Electrical placements at NIT Kurukshetra(you can find them through Facebook or LinkedIn) and then decide. If you ask me, I would suggest NIT Kurukshetra.
Every one thinks their hostel is the best. So no hostel actually is the best. Rooms will be of similar size, and same facilities in all the hostel. Siang, dihing,manas, kapili do have their own balcony wich others lack, but a slightly smaller room too.

See It depends on a lot of factors. Your college, your branch, the companies visiting in your batch, and of course at last and the most important, your skills. The first few things are not in your control, however, your skills are in your control. A major portion of preparation is preparing for Data structures and algorithms. People devote 70-80 per cent of their preparation towards this. There's no fixed number, but roughly: If you're starting in 1st year, putting 10 hours a week would also be more than enough. If you're starting in the 2nd year, 20 hours a week. If you're starting in the third or fourth year, give it as much time as you can. there's no limit. The key is earlier you start and you do it with consistency. I hope my answer helped, All the best.

I am not fully aware, but as of now the first year students are sharing the hostel rooms. more hostels are being constructed and this may change by the time of admission.

Usuallly 20-30 Mbps, and when connected to lan,it is close to 50Mbps.
Cutoff rank changes every year, usually it is 500-600 AIR for general male
