Hi loves😅.. I feel I didn’t cover enough in this video, had some missing clips😢, so kindly let me know by liking my comment if you would like a part 2.
Nice video as always Lauretta. Just to add, if you need to ask for directions, please start with “Bonjour”. “Vous parlez Anglais s’il vous plait ?” Meaning “hello, please do you speak English ?” Typically they will say “un peu” [a little] or “Oui” [Yes]. If they say Non [No], at least 1 in 3 persons will. Better still use the translate app on your phone, it’s very common here. Even if that is the only French phrase you learn before getting here it will help you a lot. French people are more receptive when you attempt to speak French. And it’s very cultural to say Bonjour first when you meet someone here.
Yeah ! Vers, very useful advice ! A french person could feel despised if you avoid saying "Bonjour, Madame/Monsieur" before asking. French boomer here ...
@@laurettaoshomoh looking forward to seeing you too🥰. I am an aspiring content creator with no idea of how to start😪, if i get the chance to meet you,i know i will learn alot .
Thank you… not very cold but it is very cold for people like us coming from places like Nigeria, so get all that you need. Yes it snows, just not much.
Hello Lauretta, goodevening. Please is there any way I can reach you personally if you don’t mind? Also I would like to know if one must legalize and authenticate their certificates and other documents before coming to France please? I’m interested in studying in France by January 2025. Hopeful to leave by December to resume in January. Also I’d like to know more about getting accommodation over there and the price. Thank you.
Great Video 👍🏾, Though French is the easiest language for a native English speaker to learn, if you can’t learn French you probably not a language person 😄
Thanks for sharing. But my problem now is, how’s the dating culture among black Africans over there, is it easy to get a woman? or if you’re a man is it easy to get a husband who’s African origin?😅
After two years, you would still need Google translate. No way, you would be fluent after two years, specially if you do not live with French people. I hear people who say are fluent even after 4 years but they are not; they do not speak like the native and make mistakes.

Very important.. thank you Daniel, spot on!
The right way of asking is: "Bonjour. Parlez-vous Anglais, s'il vous plait?"

You’re very correct 😂
Of course people in France speak French! What do you expect?
Maybe they speak gibberish?😏
Except if you work in an anglo-saxon speaking firm, yes your life will be dificult.
