I almost fell off the stair machine at the gym when Preach started reading about Mao. What a throwback to my high-school years
Mao was the card game of choice when I was in Scouts... It was really more hazing ritual than card game.
Truly enjoyed the first story, felt like it could be a tale told round the fireplace. Well written, well played by Preach (as always) and a pleasure to experience. The submitters continue to make me smile with their team-ups with Preach to tell a tale. 3ajib!

I have played what I assume is a variant of Mao, where the rules are given via the cards in your hand, so you wind up learning them over time and then every time you play you are trying to figure out which ones are in effect. I kind of hated it but it was interesting

Very confused about why a guy acting like an asshole towards his girlfriend is funny. If she's too clingy and you don't want to talk to her just break up, why be a dick like that, especially in situations where she could clearly use some emotional support? And why does an adult man who should know better find it funny?
