@@gailcarmack2954 the problem with the Texas grid are the federally mandated 'green' energy installations which have destabilized it. otherwise, every electrical grid is wires and transformer stations. there is no magical upgrading that can really be done to hurricane proof outdoor infrastructure
Cruz is a lot of things, but he understands the politics around the shitty federal interaction with Texas and the neighboring gulf states in times of need.
