I feel like you can see why Trisha wants to be mother here. She’s scared and not completely educated about these things, like a lot of us women!! But she seems so mystified by it. Don’t get me wrong, she seems a little disturbed by the details. But every time she asks a question and Colleen answers it, she gets more comfortable. Now that Trish is engaged and I believe to want kids in the future. I pray she thinks about every option women have, and chooses what’s best for her! There are so many ways to have children. I hope she speaks to Colleen still. She would be a wonderful person to help Trish figure out her journey!

**Error** she literally was giving her wrong information. Babies don’t “breathe” at all in utero. The umbilical cord is what supplies the oxygen to babies. So once your waters breaks the reason you need to go into labour and have the baby in a certain amount of time is because of the risk of infection for the baby

Giving birth is so painful but one of the most incredible things a woman will ever experience in her life at the same time .
It’s such an empowering experience, you realise how strong and powerful you are to do something like that. I had a drug free labour and birth and was in labour for 38 hours. Towards the very end I was in so much pain my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and in between one of my contractions I was begging for pain relief but it was too late for anything at that point. I was pushing for two hours with both second degree internal and external tears. For anyone who is planning on having a drug free birth, out of every position I found sitting in the shower with a birth ball was the best for me out of everything.
For some reason I find this to be an unlikely friendship. I mean, Trish and Colleen? But this is weirdly really wholesome. I've just gotten used to "Frienemies Trisha" and I love it

They need to show this video to young girls in high school because it’s such a natural girl talk time video. I was cringing, laughing, and aww’ing in so many moments but overall cringing that it really reminded me that your safety is always at risk when pregnant and during the birth and even after. I learned a lot and got a good refresher on why it’s good to wait to an older age versus early 20’s from this video. Thank you guys for doing this video I will most likely pass on any type of information that stuck with me here into future conversations with any of my girl friends who ponder the idea of a baby.
I'm currently pregnant and like her, I'm having a HORRIBLE pregnancy. Watching her videos have helped me along. Most of my friends have had easy pregnancies and love it so knowing there is someone else out there that hated it also makes me feel so much better. They seriously need to show this to young girls during sex Ed. (I know this is a late comment I'm just rewatching this for like the 5th time 😂)

I dont know what you expect school to teach you? I went to school 2 years in texas and 10 years in germany and in neither places did they thoroughly explain every detail about birth. I have no idea why people judge based on how moms give birth. It doesn't really matter as long as the baby is healthy. I was delivered with an epidural, the labor took 24 hours. My younger brother was delivered without one in 6. We are both happy, healthy, successful, and my mother is still beautiful and strong.
