God, she is such a beautiful human being. I grew up in the 70's listening to her music. My dad died of Parkinson's - brutal disease. She handles it with class and grace.

I met Linda Ronstadt in the late 80's early 90's and she is a really sweet and genuine person and she is so brave and I know she will not give up and when she came out with this i was so proud of her and very sad at the same time and know that when she came out she is helping so many people . I sat down with her and had a cup of coffee and she was an open book and was so kind . god bless you Linda and you are in my prayers

Have loved her since the 70s. Remember her barefoot style and what a remarkable voice. Had all her albums and practically wore them out. Now she is a classy and gracious lady. No self pity, either. Lovely human being.

I am so glad Linda's spoken words are taking the place of her singing words. She is also intellectually gifted and a huge resource of American culture from the 60's on with insights few have or can speak about as authentically. Let's hope for more interviews like this until she can't speak anymore.

Her voice will be sorely missed....she was much more skilled than she modestly portrays in this interview.

Recently I was in line at Starbuck's, at my favorite location, and they have at the checkout point a display of selected CD's or DVD's. I had one of these in my hand, which featured Linda Ronstadt, and asked a younger adult female behind me in line, a question. "Who is today's Linda Ronstadt"? Her reply stunned me...it was "who is Linda Ronstadt"? That was a slap in the face of reality.

Sounds like she had no use for the Beatles or Rolling Stones. Also, my dad was a Time Magazine photographer and in 1977 when she appeared on its cover millions read the magazine and she made a fortune with such free publicity. I love her voice, & I even love Tucson, and feel sad about her disease, but her false modesty is just that, false.
