Why compare these girls with Angela?, who I think is pretty ordinary, because she does her job well but nothing MASSIVE, and well however, I think that these girls seem to have more influence from Holy Moses, which i think is FANTASTIC, they still need to grow up musically but for a very beginning is pretty classy and kick ass.
I pretty much get sick when a girl does grunts and automatically are compared to Angela, she's not the only one, for Lord's sake!

And in my world there's room for more than the top 8 song writing bands in the world. If I like what I hear I don't really care if Yngwie is doing the solo or not. Furthermore I admire bands like this (girls OR boys). Bands that disregard trends and are fully aware of that the music they want to do is directed to a smaller crowd. Bands that won't make an "unmasked" just because the tides are turning. These bands show awesome integrity and at least I salute them accordingly.

First all female metal group ive ever listened to! Instrumental wise they are awesome but im not to keen on the vocals, they arent bad but they arent excellent. Overall a good band though. Pretty hot girls too. 4 outa 5. Keep up the good work girls!

@DrMegaByte666 Reverb short for reverberation. Reverb alters guitar and base tones slightly or in a large way depending on how much is used. Its the same with vocals. Considering vocals tend to be recorded on their own tracks why exactly do her vocals need room? Next thing youll tell me is the drums werent triggered up and they are completely organic. Oh and that is me ASSuming youll say that. Perhaps we shoud take this conversation mail and not clutter the page with it.

Eh, no, reverb adds room to the voice but doesn't alter it..
I know what is needed to alter a voice in the way you think is being done here. Eq's, compressors and reverbs doesn't help much in the effort to make a tiny girl growler sound huge. You need other stuff for that and again, does Bryan Adams sound drenched in effects on his albums? He uses the same effects as you call them..

@DrMegaByte666 Actually this would be the first time I am wrong. Beacuse again effects were used on the vocals:). Ive made points based on specifics. You simply fail to recognize or respond to them. Now you are making an assumption on where I get my existance from. You were the one who assumed Nevermore were female too.

@DrMegaByte666 Really? Yes reverb does effect and alter the voice. Next thing you know you will tell me reverb doesnt affect a guitars sound.An eq is used to help set and modulate tones. You can use it to help effect the vocals. Ive spent hours in studios. Both recording and watching bands Im booking or managing record. I know the deal. But how dare I harp on your precious girls right.

Ignorant doesn't even begin to cover what you're suffering from..
Compressor, eq and reverb are NOT effects as such and they do not alter the voice. Every recording that is made is made with these components. There are so many ways to change how the voice sounds and he hasn't used any of them. Some effects are auto-tune, pitch shifters and the company Antares has an arsenal of voice altering software. They have used nothing more than ANY singer would when recording.

I think you're just one of those sorry individuals that don't think female vocals has any place in metal. I've seen Frantic Amber live once and the energy they deliver is awesome and the vocals sounds even better!
