  • It happens to all of us. The bike has been standing for a while and refuses to start. In my case, all my attention was on the KTM 390 Adventure and the GT was standing for almost 6 months.
    Watch the video to see what was wrong with it and how to address this problem.

      Hey...Nice video. Liked and subscribed for the 535. I’m facing problems with both of my wheels as the callipers are hugging the disc the front one is not free and rear one is making squeaking sound. I’ve changed front and rear brake oil (myself and once by the SVC guys) the front brake pads have been changed too but to no luck. I’ll be looking forward to your next video. 😄

      @@Manu-uz3mp Hi, thanks for the compliments, i really appreciate it! From what you are describing, maybe you need to check wheel alignment. sometimes that causes the pads to rub against the disc. The rear pads squeaking could be because they are worn out.... I will try to list some reasons and remedies in my next video for you :-)

      @@RoadAheadWithAJ thank you it would be really really helpful. And about that, the front tire is always too tight I mean there is not a specific point for that and its making grooves on the disc and as for the rear tire I've got the bearings changed but still...and the pads are fairly new I think I'll change them, just to be sure.
      So as of now I'm not riding it. :(

    Hi sir in my gt 535, while using a self start there is some "kara kara" sound in one way clutch, some times it starts smoothly, sometimes sound come and while driving i have feel of bike getting off, and i check the battery its in excellent condition

    • @RoadAheadWithAJ
      @RoadAheadWithAJ  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a very common problem with the UCE engines. The gear that starts the engine is spoilt (it's in the clutch case on LH side where the starter motor engages).

    Buddy i have recently purchased a gt 535 and have restored her completely my issue is that clutch seems to be extremely hard ,my mechanic says its becuase its a heavy clutch ,I suspect that the cable is faulty , is your bikes clutch also hard to change?

    • @RoadAheadWithAJ
      @RoadAheadWithAJ  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Rashid, no my clutch isn't very hard. Yes, the cable could be old and needs to be changed, since you have bought a used bike, makes sense to change the cable. Also you can adjust the play in the lever, by adjusting the 2 nuts where the cable connects to the clutch- left hand side, above the gear lever.

    Hi. My continental GT535 is idling at 2000 rpm in neutral and when shifted any gear it rpm keeps fluctuating between 1500 - 2000 rpm.
    How do I fix it? The local RE service centre said that it will get better if I ride it for a few days which isn’t convincing enough to me.

    • @RoadAheadWithAJ
      @RoadAheadWithAJ  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Vishal, there could be several reasons for this, some simple and some complicated.
      The simplest could be your throttle body is dirty and needs cleaning. Check if your throttle cable is not stuck somewhere.
      Next, you can check if the section connecting throttle body to engine body is not cracked (its usually made of plastic and happens with age).
      The more complicated issues could be something wrong with one of the sensors. But that is difficult to assess over messages like this

    Hi I got royal Enfield gt 535 and I have a spark plug issue . It’s getting black with in 5-10 kms
    And bike start to die and just turns off in the middle of the road . Is there any thing I can do to fix this issue?

    • @RoadAheadWithAJ
      @RoadAheadWithAJ  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Supreet, most often black spark plug is due to high fuel/air mixture. This can happen due to several reasons- dirty air filter, or something could be wrong with the injector.
      First check the air filter and replace if it is old and dirty.
      Is your spark plug very old?
      A faulty injector is least likely, so don't open it up until you have tried all the above.

      @@supreetsingh4616 NO bhai. In this video I have specifically spoken about the relay only.
