Excellent production singers and singing. My only reservation is of the video. Opera is not cinematography. Close-ups are , to me , anathema. In the opera house we see the whole stage, the entire physical context all of the time. That is what I want whenever I see an opera, be it live or recorded
Good point. The camera shows us only what it wants us to see.
