I've been watching and reading K for a couple years now, and I've got to say these student ones are the best. It is finally a dialogue proper, and the truths are brought out more clearly than ever. Also, it's so nice to see this dear man truly laughing, and his love and affection. I wish I could hang out with K for a bit in real life, but this is pretty great! Thank you!
Talks with Rishi Valley students are easy to understand. Also you can enjoy the fun which JK never do while talking with elders. The students are very intelligent.
It's amazing how Krishnaji explains a subject to an individual - regardless of his/her age. He always make the listener walk along with him - step by step.
Students might not clearly understand it now. but through time they will realize as I realized now what he said seems to be perfect way to reflect once thought and understand it. it makes us think in a real way than the worldly chaos.
What a beautiful! In a very human beings relation, i see how compassion he showed, i see how passion he expressed. That passion is changing the world, changing old boy, me and may be you. Take it careful please. I see to carry that passion then we are in love
A beautiful talk about observation on how to look at things how they are in they'r quintessence and not stoping the observation at the point of nameing the object, the thing or the embodyment of it.
Well idk if I got it or not, the story was actually 'bout "fear" personified as tiger 🐅. First, he don't want to look at the tiger in some prior arrangement of "goat-trap" tht is he don't want to look at the fear acc. to someone's POV or his prior judgement, memory etc. So he went into Jungle i.e in his own mind to see wht it actually "is". Whn he went, thr were noises signifying the usual chattering of mind. But whn the tiger i.e fear came thn all other noises of jungle stopped i.e whn fear grips a person's mind thn all other chattering apart from it comes to a complete stop. Whn the tiger was gone, the usual noises of Jungle came back i.e whn fear is gone the usual chattering of mind comes back into being. The second silence was whn he looked to Langurs i.e to his other "thoughts" thn by jus looking them, the silence of mind came back. He didn't condemned or made opinions 'bout the Langurs but jus "looked" at them. So we should look wht fear 'nd our thoughts "is" without any prior background of memory 'nd prejudice, perhaps, thn by jus "looking" at it with an attention not cultivated by thought thr comes an action into being which makes consciousness reveal it's own glory without creating the duality of "observer" 'nd the "observed" in a state of silence not of loneliness but something other tht can't be described by words.... This is wht I understood.U too cn share wht he might want to convey frm the story acc. to uh. Sry fr my bad English. Peace 🕊️
That is an interesting interpretation. I think it is possible that the level of symbolism you detailed could be infused into the story. When I heard it I thought of it much more literally, as an entertaining story. He went out to see the tiger, and when the forest went silent, because "some dangerous thing was near," he looked for the tiger but never saw it. So he started back. On the way back, the forest hushed again, and when he looked around, all the Langurs were looking directly at him. This gave me a striking thought that the forest (including the monkeys) was actually reacting to HIM, not to the tiger, which is much more rare now. He was thinking of the tiger (misplacing the danger), whereas the forest was afraid of him. The meaning that came to me from the story is this: that the human being can be as dangerous, or more dangerous than the tiger, and that the human being has created much more havoc and destruction in the world, and for nature and animals, and therefore they have more reason to fear the human being, in all its power; that the human being is the new danger. If one realizes the potential of violence, and the habit of violence in man, then great compassion may arise, that human beings (you and I) can pose such a destructive threat to nature; therefore we are informed of, and sensitive to, that danger in our potential, and will never again be without the striking realization of our potential, for good or ill. Therefore we may resolve to understand the violence of man, and vow instead to act in harmony, with compassion for all nature. I'm not sure if this was an intended meaning to the story, which doesn't have a stated moral, and seems a very unique and rich story. This is only what occurred to me. There seem also to be other themes, like cruelty (the goat), courage ("be brave old boy, I won't frighten you!"), adventure and curiosity. Thank you for detailing your interpretation, it was interesting to read. No worries about your English, thank you for reading! I am curious what you think of this interpretation. Serendipity 🐯🐵
How i wish i could come into contact with the student boy Ajit and ask him what it was like to having come into contact with Krishnaji during his schooling at Rishi Valley! But i know this will just be a wish...
If soil, that is society, is proper, each new born individual is one K. We as a generation before them rather making society proper, going other way round. There is wetness in my whole being by looking at sparkle of those brains.🙏
If one listens for years then there is a great problem because if I got it then there's no commitment just likes you see that's all absolutely no commitment.
The teaching is important... not the organisms that use words to communicate.. who is the i thats attached to the idea that that boy could change your life? Do whats being instructed and see... luv
I am interested too in meeting this boy Sanjay, curious to see the results of such an extraordinary education. He must be doing something different in his life on the basis of the roots he have gotten.

The boy has a thick skull.. Good thing, that a girl is more receptive, at least some balance. I like how patiently J. explains and tries to impart ... something, even tho few understand it.
Beautiful just beautiful

I think I have to start listening to his school discussions first for better understanding.
Agreed! The children don’t fight with him. He actually has a chance to share the insights that he is.
I wish to sit by him and these children and be taught to see anew
With the child like enthusiasm, he holds their hand and waits for the right answer :)

13:25 The kid said yes but shakes his head
In India, not certain with others though, wobbling of head signals that what is being said is understood. A confirmation.
Yea you are right. I am sure others wonder about that too. But this is an Indian thing. You shake your head site to side (or wobble) when you agree.
Does anyone know where this kid is today? I'd love to be able to reach out to him and have a conversation. Thank you for posting these videos!
