Thick smoke and low winds have kept the fire from growing. Crews continue mopping up and protecting structures, and no structures have been lost since the fire's early days. 💪
🚒 Defensible dozer lines now connect Goat Falls Community with Stanley Ranger Station, with additional lines north of Stanley, Valley Creek, and Two Ravens/Ten Ax Communities.
🌫️ Saturday's weather looks similar, with smoke expected to linger in the northern Sawtooth Valley. Sunday afternoon the wind gust pick up near 20 mph gusts from the SW.
