This was a great video but I'd love to see it in action on a mature person! I'm still ambivalent about how many of these hacks I actually need to try - I'm still happy with the mixing foundation with primer hack and that doesn't seem to be a "mature" thing!!
Another awesome hack to try? Mix your foundation with your concealer before you apply it! It makes your concealer settle less into fine lines and you either don’t need powder to set it! If you do feel you need powder to set it? You only need a very, very small amount. ❤
If
@@trppro7640 - Some products are different on different people. Some people never need to set concealer with powder to prevent creasing. I almost always need to use powder to prevent my concealer from creasing. This is why I was trying to say that you may or might not need a tiny amount of powder to set the foundation/concealer combo.
Please more videos for mature skin! Love the hack concerning to use dark foundation as a bronzer 👍
Great tutorial Nina and I will definitely start adopting your mature skin hacks - thank you for sharing! ❤
What a beautiful tutorial!! Thank you Nina you’re the best!!!
Nina! I found you at a time in my life when I felt so ugly and old. Im 45 yr old pale white girl from New Orleans. I tell you this bc it's crazy I would fall in love with your channel! We don't have obvious things in common, like skin tone and color preference, but I have a ton of experience with makeup and makeup professionals. You are the REAL THING! You have a very intuitive and thoughtful approach to makeup. I adore your channel. Thank you for putting yourself out there this way. You have helped me remember why I loved makeup so much in my 20's. You've taught me to change my stale routine from my 30's into something a process in my 40's that is streamlined and dynamic, depending on what my skin and mood is that day.
This made my day! Thank you so much for your kind words and I’m so happy to hear how you feel so positive about makeup now! 🫶🏽
More please for us old folks. We need more help.😂💕
Yes. Please
Love the eye look and thank you nina for all the tips xx

Thanks Nina for your hacks tutorial… ❤
Wow! I genuinely love watching your vids. Your accent is absolutely amazing!! I can tell u genuinely love helping others with their makeup struggles!! This has given me some tips as well. Thanks so much hun!! ❤
Nina has an English accent as I believe she lived in London for many many years.
Very useful hacks
Thank you so much ❤❤
Well done Nina very well❤
Perfect timing for my mature skin because I needed more foundation and blush. Decided to try a more hydrating foundation than I’ve previously used and bought my first liquid blush. Tried the hacks yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised! My skin looked less cakey and more fresh, even hours later. Thank you!
❤ I so loved this video thank you Beautiful Nina, have a lovely Christmas and a happy New Year from Australia 🦘 Down Under😊❤
Great video. Your eyeshadow looks amazing - what colours did you use?
I'm 58 and I do prefer cream eyeshadows more than powder ones. I find the cream eyeshadows so easy and I usually have the pencil form ones over the potted ones. I have a few of the liquid eyeshadows as well. Use those when going to work. I tightline my eyes and like the look it gives. I have tried the black eyeshadow hack before. Will have to try the other hacks. Always love these types of videos. Keep them coming!
Wow Nina great video I use the Rimal london lasting radiance concealer is that a hydrating concealer
Great video. ❤
Fabulous darling !!! No matter what issues I have, to do with my makeup, I know that all I have to do is just go to your channel and there it is, my problem solved.! You are my absolute go to when it comes to MUAs.. Thankyou.🥰☮️
Nina I swear ....this could literally be an age progression picture of you! TWINS!!
❤❤❤❤
You're the best teacher. I'm from Indonesia and love your channel so much. Thank you
Great video! Thanks! Would you recommend liquid setting mist instead of setting powder?? Which brand?
Thank you for the tips will be trying these.I'm 65 and love wearing makeup but get frustrated with some makeups. These tips make sense.Thank You
❤❤❤
Thank you so much for doing a tutorial for us mature women. I am not a fan of foundation, but like to use a skin tint for a little color. I am 53 years old and always have issues with my under eyes creasing. Definitely going to try these hacks.
I will definitely practice and try to master your hacks. Hi from the Philippines!
Your so beautiful thank you xxx
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Try Natasha denonas concealer, it is amazing for mature skin. Very hydrating
So many great tips, thank-you. I just tried the blush mixed in with my foundation, while I was sitting here watching you. It looked amazing. Such a big difference from such a little thing 😍
Thank you so much for the advice for us with "mature skin." I do have a question ... I love the look of the black eyeshadow in the tightline but I wear contacts and have had trouble with products creating a film on them. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!
She is exceptional at giving instructions and explaining why you want to do what she suggests. I’d love to see her do it on models, particularly more mature women. I know it’s easier said than done, but it would be really nice to see her do her magic on others.
Could you suggest some good, more affordable spfs that work good under makeup but also have a decent SPF amount? Seems the market is saturated now when before you could barely find a facial spf for beneath makeup, so it’s hard to know which ones are good and which ones are white and/or oil slicks. Any affordable, quality, effective skincare products you can recommend would be much appreciated!
This is so great me being 59 it really helps. Thanks for sharing 😊 ❤ will definitely try this 😀
very nice, but..... when you contacts, its very very tough to put anything on upper inner water line.
Ok, Sister. I'm halfway through my 42nd year (I wish I could add a more recent pick of my face... 😮💨) and, thanks to you, have just barely started grasping a REAL understanding of how to do my makeup. But, unfortunately, I also have had a really rough time picking out the right foundation because, although I have normal skin (not oily or dry, no super visible pores, etc..) and a neutral skin tone, suddenly every foundation I try, even the light coverage ones, seem to want to look super cakey and just settle into the very few lines I do have! Which seemed to have shown up literally OVERNIGHT! Seriously!! Like just the last couple weeks even!! And, the foundations I used to absolutely LOVE now just seem to make me look like a clown with a face full of grease makeup!! I have also been unemployed for the last 6 months, seemingly spending EVERY WAKING MOMENT searching my tiny town for ANY JOB!! So, not only can I not afford a luxury foundation, but there is no place to get luxury makeup within 100 miles of my home anyway! So, since I couldn't be ANY NEWER to this mature skin thing, can you please recommend the best drugstore foundation and concealer for mature skin that is also lightweight enough to use with your underpainting method, as well as more matte so as not to end up looking so greasy (something that has also JUST started happening VERY RECENTLY! Which I find to be kind of strange considering my face is NEVER oily looking like that when I DON'T have makeup on...) and, if possible, under $15. I guess there is a good chance the foundation I'm describing DOESN'T ACTUALLY EXIST, but it's worth a shot! Anyway, thank you so much and I REALLY appreciate all you do to help all of us, lost out here, adrift, in the great makeup void!! LOL!
Thanks so much for your support in watching my videos! For a concealer try this: go.shopmy.us/p-3062630 and foundation: go.shopmy.us/p-3489324 hope this helps! ❤️
I am number 3!🎉
👼🏻❤thank you
Is your sponge damp for the blush and bronzer? ❤️
Thank you your very beautiful
Subscribed❤
I used this step by step, at one point I thought I was looking like a clown (lmao) and then when it came together I loved it, so thank very much, I will be using this often
Can you also link your earrings, love them! Thank you
Hi are you jusing a wet sponse to set the concealer and the foundation on the face or is it a dry sponse?
Hi, what do you think about Bobbi Brown products? Thanks from Chile 🇨🇱
How can you incorporate this with powder eyeshadow as I have a lot! ❤
What kind of makeup is not transferable on your collars , clothes , please tell me . Thank you .
Great recommendations, ideas, re: foundation (light overall, then dark as contour -- if I could only find a cooler dark mauvish shade!), cream blush + light touch of powder. Ironically, just discovered MFE translucent setting powder. ADORE how finely milled + subtley luminescent it is...It is beyond lovely!
Don't think I can do the waterline liner idea with powder, since I wear contacts...
And since I don't have your wonderful full lips, I will continue to over-draw my entire lips with lip liner.
5-Star-Tutorial techniques I will use from now on! 💞
Your support means a lot to me! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and try out the techniques.
Hello Nina I have an issue I hope you answer me I have some darkness in the corners of my mouth but when I apply concealer it looks greyish how can I fix it? Thanks 😊
Great video as always! Im going to try the contour hack since Im pale right now and have darker toned foundations/skin tints. Im still struggling with my undereyes, I have dark circles, troughs and some lines and I never like the way it looks. Is applying with a damp sponge better than a concealer brush?
I spread it out, very very lightly (after letting my eye cream sit for about 15 minutes patted in) and then I use a damp beauty blender, sponge to tap it out very lightly until it has no settling into lines. Then I take a very tiny touch of Charlotte Tillberry, flawless, finish powder and tap that, and then I use that sponge again to set it. So I go very gently around to set it, and then it will not go into the eyes lines. It never moves.
So you set the flawless finish powder with the same beauty blender? Definitely going to try this. I’m having the same problem as the original poster @@stevdaughtr6098
Do u dampen sponge first.?
Love this video! Love the lipstick color but cannot buy here
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Thank you so much 🥰new subscriber going 54 soon!😁
Hi Nina, I am brand new to your videos, I love how you apply your makeup, it’s gorgeous, can you please do more videos for mature skin. I have dry skin and just had an allergic reaction to a new skin care now I don’t know what to do. I used Lancôme for years but no longer can and no fragrance. I would sure love your advice. Thank you very very much 🦋
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoy my makeup videos. I'll definitely create more content for mature skin with a focus on dry skin and fragrance-free products.
@@NinaUbhi1Hi Nina, thank you so much for replying back , I am so glad to hear from you, do you have an email address I can email you with just a few questions? Thanks ❤
U r the best nina. Truly ❤
First timer.....GREAT VIDEO thank you so much. Any ladies out there know if her sponges are always damp? I have always used brushes, but I love how they blend on her face. Can you use her eye technique on deep set eyes? Thank you!
I was scrolling looking for this answer too.
Always use a damp sponge. DAMP - not wet. 😊 I use a beauty blender, squeeze it under the running water to really get it wet, squeeze it out, and then use a paper towel to squeeze out even more before actually using it.
@@KeautyDesigns thank you. Have a great day.
Thank you for sharing could you do one showing how to do hooded eyes on mature woman too. God blessyou you are amazing i love your channel.
It came to my mind that this could have been perfect if it is done on a matured person. It will really make sense more. Anyways, it is great.
Thank you for more mature skin tips! I was still confused on how much setting powder I should use. Thank you for clarification. Your mom looks beautiful in the thumbnail photo. You look just like her! Great video!
I thought it was Nina using one of those aging filters!
@@vtcs1963 She featured her mom
In another video. I am pretty certain it’s a picture of her mom. I could be wrong though.
All I’m seeing in the US are the Ultra HD Matte Setting Powder and the Loose Finishing Powder, both of which seem to be different formulations than what you’re using. 😢. BTW, I love your videos. Thank you!
If somebody sees this, can you reply? let me know is there a way to prevent when you line your waterline, from the dark shade dripping into your eyeball? I don’t know if that makes sense, but I’ve tried waterproof, and I’ve tried kohl to line the waterline and I eventually see the shade sort of leak across inside of my eye if that makes sense 🤷🏻♀️😢
I’ll try doing a video on this soon
The age progression pic looks like ur mom.
Can u show this makeup look on ur mom + w/the cream shadow? ♥️
I don’t see MUFE UHD setting powder . I see matte UHD . Please help
I always find it hard when I’m applying the foundation after concealer that I don’t rub it all in together any tips ?
I would very lightly set your concealer with translucent powder before you apply your foundation
