Whether anyone else believes me or not, I’ve heard this very chant on other Planes of Existence, specifically 1 I frequent. In that case, the Amazons were using it ritually. The same goes for the one that starts with “we all come from the Goddess.” 😎

Yeah, I grew up on a mountain as well and I love all the sounds. One of my faves is the sound of the tree frogs in the pond after it rains. Wonderful to go to sleep with.
I do the same, when I feel that something bad will happen, or I have an anxiety attack/paranoia etc. I light a candle, draw my pentagram and meditate and say this chant over and over, summoning for guidance of what i should do, and 99% of the time, i receive the guidance i require :) Blessed be, My sister of the divine God and Goddess!!

You might have C-PTSD, which I had until I found a womyn-only circle to do ritual & share my experiences as a woman living in a male supremacist culture where woman and Goddess are both abused and erased. 9 million of our foresisters were burned for witchcraft not long ago, and their voices scream through me. I can feel them at times, swelling up like an ocean of rage and sadness. May every woman find the Goddess within her, for thou art Goddess.

May the Almighty bless you; you've echoed my feelings and belief. Many, perhaps most, don't seem to understand that many Christians (as myself, and you also) can be pagan as well. My Italian upbringing is strictly Catholic yet gloriously rich with underlying pagan themes and practices. My grandmother was called upon by neighbors who felt they were afflicted by "il malocchio"- the evil eye, and she excercised the proper rituals and prayers to release them from it. Our faiths overlap.

Let it be understood that there are Christians who are pagan as well. I am one of them. This Samhain, I send my peace and brotherhood to all pagans who follow the religion of old Europe. This is perhaps my favorite chant. Theres something also in the vowels sung in between the elements sung, in this. But it is almost impossible to describe it, especially on here. I remember Eli taught some of us this.

I have agoraphobia, thus causing me to have frequent panic attacks. The energy I feel from this chant...it's amazing. I find myself whispering it whenever I am feeling anxious. Tends to help.

I wonder if he truly is of Italian background he knows of our Cultural stance: We Italians (from Italy like myself) were Pagans before the church. I've have honestly never used this chant in a ritual before or any music or chant for that matter. I mainly use it when I'm spending time in nature or just randomly doing anything that isn't necessarily Pagan to get a Pagan feel or to just tune in with nature. But I would use it just whenever it feels right or when calling the quarters in ritual. Blessed Be!
@MittenKitte most people go with their zobiac sign's element, but a lot of times that style does not fit, for example im a pieces, linked to water, but the element im most connected to is fire, there are no set rules to follow for anything in wicca, just go with what feels right to you and you cant be wrong, which is one of the best parts of wicca i think
I couldn't agree more, In order to live in this world that is ever turning and adapting we must remain not only honorable, vigilant but also open to all options and possibilities. Seems to me that it is easier to mock what is not understood though it is basic principles. Take care of the planet that allows us to live on and in turn the planet will take care of us.
