Thank you! A problem I looked at briefly today and quickly realised I would need to take the reel out. A wonderful step by step guide for me to follow.
Gday Danial, cheers😃👍🏻 You could possibly remove the bearing caps and push the reel back enough without removing chain and sprocket. Providing the adjusters aren’t seized in that case I’d remove the lot, The same as in the Video. Just a thought I haven’t actually tried it 🤷🏻♂️😂. All the best 👍🏻
Great video mate.. And cheers for the shout out 👍 Interesting to see how you get your mower on and off the bench, I normally have to wait for the misso to get home 😂
Can you put the new long bolt through the original housing? So basically can you just change the long skinny bolt and not have to change the nut part? Would save me removing the reel to get it out etc I know you couldn't because you had snapped the outside thread, but I just want to change over the height adjuster bolt
Gday mate 😃, it really depends. The early machines had a left-hand thread on the agusting bolt, whereas the later machines (and the new replacement parts) are a right-hand thread. So if they are the same thread, yes you certainly can. If not, unfortunately you'll have to change it all. I hope this makes sense 😃👍🏻

Mate thank you!! I have them sitting in my shed and will use this as a step guide.. to get the job done.
No dramas Adam 😃. Hope it helps. feel free to ask questions if you have any trouble 👍🏻
Apologies if I've caused any confusion by referring to the reel adjusters as height adjusters🤦🏻♂️. Only picked up on it during editing. 😃

Cheers Jordan, no dramas mate you done a good job of explaining it. Janelle generally helps me also. But she was at work so I had to improvise😂
My pivot bolts were seized, just used a butane torch to heat and loosen. Easy as.
That’s the go. 😃
Cracking vid mate 👌
Cheers bloke 😃👍🏻
