big question, are the koch chemie compounds and polishes truly water based as I've tried them on single stage paints and the pads dont turn a dark colour (on reds etc) which tells me that they contain some petroleum hydrocarbon solvents to break down and handle the paint residue. sometimes their good like single stages but on clears a true water based is better for gloss and clarity. They correct very well but dont finish as good as what my chemistry mentor makes. but it's a top German brand none the less. the red foam pad is great and I really like F6. I'd like them to be a liquid not a paste.
Some of users say that the new rupes polishing machines aren’t good as before. So they advice me the Flex machine. Does anyone have experience with this?
Do you know what type of clearcoat does european Fords (Ford Focus MK3) have? I'm planning to polish it with two step polishing (F6+M3). Thanks for the answer!
I tested AF for PH and came up with about a 6. I tried many soaps and got many outcomes most true or close to what the brands state at 4% PIR. The AF was 3.5 points lower. Any idea about this? I tried it a few different times on my own. Results were the same every time.
Hmm I’m no chemist but the water used could alter the PH possibly. For example Deionized water could yield a different PH with AF, as opposed to using ordinary water from the hose with AF. Maybe worth a shot to test the differences between both if you have access to deionized water. Again I’m not even sure if it will make a difference but just a thought
At the end of the day life is full of unpredictability and the effort to facilitate improvement generally does not coincide with instant gratification. The information provided is far more important than a fancy high definition production.

I will pass on their products, there are plenty of other quality products in the “Free Market”
